Secret Of The Silent Visitor

Secret Of The Silent Visitor

May 30, 2019

Kota Reaper, Britta and I used to be the three amigos, However as soon as he was turned into a prefect at our strict school of which uniforms are worn and a simple whisper can get a detention he stopped hanging out with us. His excuse was work, school and “duties”, but everyone knew that wasn’t it. Hah I actually used to like him. Used to.

Anyways, Britta and I sit in our assigned seats across the room from each other as Mr Rhodes turns to begin attendance. Right on time.

“Well done ladies you’ve managed to beat the bell yet again.” Mr. Rhodes says laughing per usual.

By far Mr Rhodes was our best teacher. He was young, easy to talk to, sarcastic but fun and seemed to know us so well he could mentally figure out our problems. Sometimes he’d bring his daughter to work. She was very small and absolutely adorable.

After a long day at school, and being given three assignments due tomorrow I had completely forgotten about the photo.

The walk home with Britta wasn’t uneventful though. “Hey Farrah.” she said playing with her finger tips. “I would offer my help to you with the assignments tonight but I’m going to be going to Disneyland with my family for the next week.”

After taking a moment to blink in shock I looked at her. “But we always do our homework together.” Britta sighed.

“I know but I’m leaving tomorrow.” After a hug and a goodbye she began walking to her house. “I’ll bring you mickey ears! The rose gold ones!”

A smile grew on my face and I meant to shout back, However all I did was whisper, “Ok.” and backtracked home.

“Holy almond nuts,” I said falling onto the couch in my grandmas house. “Three assignments due tomorrow all assigned today!” I yelled.

“Maybe you should invite Kota to help,” My grandma offered peacefully.

“He’s graduating in June so he's probably studying, and he hasn’t talked to me for months.”

“And Britta?”

I shifted my weight, “Going to Disneyland.”

This is good writing, thank you for taking such a good story. If you wanted to see whether you can get paid by distributing the current work or getting financial support by writing new work, you might want to e m a i l : outlook: celineabab
We are mainly looking for adventurous novels (Fantasy, Sci-fi, Paranormal Urban, Action, Thriller/Suspense, Game Fiction). A brief introduction along with a few samples or links will be appreciated when reaching out. It is a good opportunity!

Just a collection of school stories I was really proud of that arent enough pages for a full blown novels themselves.
