“Ok, we’ll compromise then. If you go to sleep then we will too and forget this ever happened. Or we can keep arguing and you’ll just end up doing it with us.”
“Fine we’ll go to bed.” So we all go to bed.
…
I wince in pain as I wake up to the demons voice piercing through my head. YOU KNOW YOU WANT DO IT! YOU KNOW WHAT THE PRIZE IS! No, I think. WHY NOT? YOU CAN LIVE IN PEACE WITHOUT THIS MURDEROUS ‘ANGEL!’ USE THE KNIFE THEY GAVE YOU. So I get up and grab the knife.
They implanted a walkie and a tracker in it somehow but I use it anyway. “Come get me and the girls I picked up in the morning.”
“Did you do it?” I hear a fuzzy voice reply.
“No, but I will.”
“Remember, if you’re lying we will put all of you in jail for life.”
“Look, I get it ok?!”
“Ok we’ll come get you and the girls in the morning.”
“Thank you.” I say quietly as I lay down next to him. I shift the knife in my hands and shove it in his back, tears in my eyes, streaming down my cheeks, blood gushing from his back, making bloody, teary puddles on the ground, running everywhere. YOU DID IT!
“Shut up.” I say in between sobs.
…
When I get home my parents welcome me back telling me not to do that again as I promise not to up and down. Then for some reason they take me to get ice cream. And when we got home, my parents go to the store, while I go to my room and then I heard the explosions.
End of book one.
