As soon as I make it to a nearby town, I hear the wolves howling. I understand though, let’s get her! Is what they say, as I look up at the moon and see myself being taken down by the wolves. That’s the other thing about this wonderful life of mine I can see the future, or what is most likely to happen, in the moon. It’s like a sixth sense for me. I highly doubt I will live past Friday.

Anyway I run and find a gas station that I run inside of. It has so much crap I don't even need inside. I hear the wolves coming about a mile away. Then I realize, it’s a full moon.

That does wonders for me, so you know how werewolves can change during full moons? Well I can sort of do the opposite meaning I can change into a gray wolf until morning when the sun hits me, of course I could live in the shadows, but what fun would that be? I like the sunlight.

When I check the time it’s about 8:19. I can work with that. I assume they already know my scent so it wouldn’t work to try to blend in, but I can run. The deeper into the night, the faster I can run. At 8:20 I can run about 60mph (not sprinting). That’s faster than them so I’ll be fine.

I run. I’ll cross the state line in about another two hours, when I realize, they can’t swim. So you know that island on which all the (not in zoos) Komodo dragons live on? That’s where I want to go.
