The students filed out of the room and Bianca begrudgingly made her way to the front.
"You wanted to talk to me Ms. Lace?"
"You seem to be prone to losing items in my presence," Giana teased, holding out the sketches of herself.
The girl's face twisted painfully and she looked like she had just been stabbed.
"Oh God" She seemed to sway and on instinct Giana reached out for her and supported her, even though Bianca was at least four inches taller than her five-one frame, sitting her down in her chair.
"Are you feeling well Bianca?" Giana asked, truly worried.
"I'm fine," she replied but Giana didn't believe her for a minute.
"I just wanted to ask you if you would be willing to sell your sketches."
"You want to buy them?"
"Of course. I'm honoured to be the subject of such a talented artist."
"You can have the sketches," Bianca replied, looking uncomfortable with being told her work was good.
"Thank you." She reached for her purse but Bianca refused to take any money.
"I must pay you back some way. I know, I'm going to tell Caleb that your work must definitely be in an exhibit of its own."
"That isn't necessary," Bianca insisted.
"Most likely I wouldn't have to convince him of anything though. Your work is amazing. I'm half worried Caleb might drop me as a client and take you instead." Giana joked.
Bianca's cheeks tinged pink as Giana moved to sit on the table in front of her.
"Are you feeling better?" Giana asked.
"I'm fine."
"Do you have any other classes for the day?"
When Bianca shook her head Giana got up and took the girl's arm.
"Then I'm taking you back to your dorm."
The girl protested but with one firm look she stopped and went with her, revealing her building and dorm number.
Giana's mind worked to remember where Bianca's dorm was as they walked to the dorm buildings.
"I miss these days. This used to be my dorm building." Giana chuckled when she finally remembered the layout of the dorms and they entered the building.
Giana turned the knob and it opened easily for her. Bianca walked into the room before her and moved to close the door but Giana had already slipped in.
"Wow" Giana whispered, staring at the walls covered with sketches, many of her. "This half looks like my dorm except I'm the topic instead of James.
She had asked James to be her model when she was in university and the man had laughingly complied. He was the most troublesome model to work with but she had enjoyed it.
"No roommate," Giana murmured.
"I don't need anyone annoying me."
"Why did you take all my classes since you got here? You were a business student."
"I still am. I just wanted to take art courses."
Bianca's tone was defensive and irrtated and Giana realised she'd overstepped her boundary.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to pry." She turned to leave but Bianca's hand on her shoulder stopped her.
She turned, gasping at how close Bianca was but before she could step back Bianca closed the space between them, their lips meeting.
Giana's eyes widened in shock before slowly closing, revelling at the feel of Bianca's stolen kiss, a strange warmth filling her from the contact, her lips soft yet demanding. She felt the tip of Bianca's tongue play on her bottom lip and she parted them, letting Bianca plunder her mouth.
Giana's heart pound in her chest her head swirling at the pure bliss that encompassed her from the single kiss, the feel of their tongues moving in an intricate dance that had both of them lusting for more in that moment.
Bianca's hands wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer, their bodies touching and Giana suddenly pulled back as she realised she was making out with her student.
"Why did you do that?" Giana asked, hating that her voice quivered.
"I don't know, but you are a good kisser."
"I have to... Goodbye."
Giana threw open the door and ran, not looking back even when Bianca called to her, jumping into her car as soon as she hit the parking lot and sped out onto the road.
