Once upon a time, there was a princess, and a prophecy. The princess would awake the power of light, in order to fulfill her destiny and fight a great evil. To stop this, the forces of evil captured her in a tower, far away from her family and friends.
Once upon a time, there was a hero, and a prophecy. The hero was supposed to aid the princess in the fight against evil, by helping her scape from the forces of evil.
However, as prophecies usually are, this prophecy wasn’t precise enough about how the princess was supposed to awake her powers. And thus, the powerless princess had nothing else to do but to wait in her tower, trapped for long, far too long. And, as the prophecy wasn’t clear enough about how the hero was supposed to be recognized, the king grew impatient, and started sending all his good men in search of the princess, in hopes of finding the hero by simple chance, to farther lands, much further lands.
Leaving the castle alone.
This is a story like so much stories you have read, you have seen, you may even know by heart. But in this story, the princess grew tired of waiting, and started fighting; and the hero was not a legendary warrior but a man brought by chance to the right time, and the right place.
