Luce is in his own little world. Well, not really, but as he makes dinner it seems like it. Everyone gives him space while he's cooking and that, combined with the music he has playing and his focus on the food, causes him to tune out everything outside of his personal bubble.

There's a flow to his movements as he glides around the kitchen. He stirs a pot on the stove, grabs a jar from the cabinet, cuts veggies, all as if moving to a culinary based dance. Suddenly his rhythm falters when he reaches for the milk on the counter only to find it isn't there. Realizing that he forgot to take it out, Luce turns to get it only to see the carton being handed to him. Without missing a beat, he takes it from Sato with a smile.

"Thanks."

"Would you like some help? We can have the food done quicker if we do it together." Luce doesn't know exactly why, but he accepts Shi-shi's help. Usually he prefers having the kitchen to himself. Maybe he just can't find a reason not to accept the offer.

Whatever the reason, Luce goes back to his cooking and Satoshi quickly blends into his rhythm. The two of them dance around each other as they cook in perfect sync. There is only the minimum verbal communication needed for cooking until Sato speaks up.

"Any particular reason for the fancy meal?"

"Well, it's our first dinner together since Dewi got back. Plus he landed a huge modeling contact today, so I figured we could celebrate."

"Hmm.." Shi-shi leans over Luce's shoulder to look at the food on the stove. Even after checking the state of said food, he doesn't move. It is such that Luce can't move from the stove where he works without pushing Sato out of the way.

"Is there something else you want?"

"No, it just smells good."

"Well, I can't move." Satoshi surprises him by wrapping his arms around him as well.

"You don't need to right now. Everything else is ready, so this is all that's left to do." A few minutes pass before Luce speaks again.

"Hey, Shi-shi?"

"Hmm…?"

"We're not in public so you don't have to act so affectionate." This does not get him the reaction that he expects.

"Is it a problem?" Sato snuggles closer. "It's not like you got a significant other yet, right? I figured doing this kind of stuff in private would make it seem more natural when we're in public."

Well, it isn't like Luce actually minds it… "Fine, but the food will be ready in fifteen minutes. I'm going to need to move then if we're going to serve it right away."
