It was Friday night. People were sailing from bar to bar with the power of booze, celebrating the weekend and temporary freedom from work and school. Music from night clubs could be heard even a block away and the people in their apartments prayed that the partying would stop soon. Few more hours to go though.
A small group of three young men left the bar in somewhat decent condition. Their walk was a bit unsure and they had to support each other, just in case. They were able to walk though and managed to do it quite well too. Only took them fifteen minutes to walk two blocks. Then one of the guys noticed someone leaning into lamp post just ahead.
“Hey guys, check that out,” he said and pointed towards the figure.
“Oh damn, look at that,” another guy said.
The person was a slender woman with an incredibly pale skin that almost glowed in the light of the lamp post. She had big dark eyes, long lashes and neat eyebrows. Her lips were plump and painted dark red. Her long dark hair was open, and it gently swayed along the gentle breeze that moved the air. Her face was emotionless.
“Is she even alive?” the third guy asked. “Or is that like, some mam... mall...mannequin? Some kind of ad?”
“I don’t know but she looks good as hell,” one of the guys said. Even if that was just a doll, he’d happily take it home. Who wouldn’t like a pretty girl like that keeping company?”
They walked closer and stopped in front of the woman. She still didn’t move, and she didn’t seem to breathe either. With a shaking hand one of the guys touched her hand.
“It’s cold. But it doesn’t feel like plastic.”
“Maybe it’s like one of those smart dolls that are supposed to be just like humans?”
“Oh, I wonder how much of it is like human then if you know what I mean,” the third guy said laughing.
“Seriously dude? That’s disgusting.”
“Can’t believe you are thinking something like that…”
The guys were too busy bickering with each other to notice that the woman moved slightly. Her head turned so she could look directly at the men and smile slowly creeped on her cold face. The dark brown in her eyes disappeared slowly, making way to dark red colour. She opened her mouth slightly and revealed a pair of sharp teeth.
“Hey boys,” she said softly causing everyone to jump in shock. “I’d happily come home with you…” And then she attacked.
