Subject: Unidentified Extrasolar Object-TOP PRIORITY-TOP SECRET

Three days ago, radio telescopes at NASA’s Arizona facility identified a Unidentified Extrasolar Object beyond the asteroid belt between Earth and Mars. NASA frequently searches for possibly dangerous asteroids; this particular specimen attracted attention due to its abnormal size, shape, and origin.

Two days ago, a signal was detected from the unknown object. The signal was broadcast over a wide variety of frequencies, including the most frequently used TV and radio bands. Attempts to parse this signal into coherent audio or image have proven fruitless. This signal, with minor variations, has repeated every six hours.

This signal, together with the abnormally regular shape of the object, as well as the fact that the object has been observed changing it’s trajectory, suggests a HIGH PROBABILITY that this object is manned.

The signal is public knowledge; it can be inferred that the Chinese, European, Indian, and Japanese space agencies, as well as many other national and civilian organizations, have come to a similar conclusion.

Judging by the object’s current trajectory, it will enter low earth orbit in approximately four days.
