Aiko and I went up the stairs towards my room we were both silence as we went up the stairs. I couldn’t help but be letting out a deep sigh as we entered the room. We both sat down on the bed.

“It has been such a crazy day.” I said in expiration.

“You can say that again.” Aiko said as she lay down on my bed with me following her lead. “I mean who would have thought that my best friend is a magical being and an important one at that.” She said as she was nudging at my arm with her elbow in a joking way.

I laughed a little bit. “Yeah, who would have ever thought that.” But as soon as my laughter came it died just as quickly causing another silence in return.

Aiko turned sideways towards me and grabbed my hand. “Are you okay?” She asked voice laced in concern.

I went trough my hair with my fingers in frustration. “I honestly don’t know.” I sat up. “Too many secrets have been revealed at once and I just don’t know how to cope with it.”

Aiko also sat up and engulfed me in a hug. “Hey…I get it. It feels like the ground under you has been forcibly removed from under your feet letting you fall in to an endless pit of darkness.”

“Yeah…”

We sat like this what felt like hours. I finally calmed down and had enough time to think about everything and I finally came up with one conclusion.

I slightly pushed Aiko of me and looked her in the eyes with a new-found resolution. “Aiko…I’m going to find my biological parents and rescue them I won’t be fully happy until everyone’s in this house otherwise.”

Aiko gave me relieved smile. “And I’ll be right behind you.”

“But the journey may be dangerous. We don’t know who we are up against, so I may not be able to protect you.”

She tutted at me with her index finger and pushed out her chest filled with courage. “Who the hell do you think that I am? I’m queen Aiko, I’m able to wipe my own ass so I don’t need your safety belt. If anything, they have to be afraid for this bitch.” She pointed at herself

“Girl, you always scream and cling on to me whenever you see a rat, screaming at me to get rid of it. They just have to show you one and your dead.” I deadpanned.

She stuttered with embarrassment at my statement. “Why you got to expose me like that? Also, for your information rats are dangerous creatures that carry sickness and you’re the only one that they listen to…”

I just rolled with my eyes amused with my arms crossed. “Sure…”

We stared each other down daring each other to prove the other wrong, but I couldn’t hold on to my ‘serious’ expression anymore and burst out in laughter. Soon after Aiko’s laughter followed filling the room together with our laughter.

We held on to our stomach almost dying from the laughter. We even had to wipe away a tear or two.

Few minutes after laughing like some maniacs while supporting each other balance I gave a slight cough.

“Okay, but I’m serious…if I hear one more crazy secret today I swear that I’m going to throw something out of the window.” I said. Too much shit has happened today, so much that my brain is about to explode, and my emotion isn’t all that too stable right now.

“Hey, you don’t need to worry about me no secrets here.” Aiko said in defense.

I nodded in approval and was about to tell her that we should go to bed, but that was interrupted by a heavy cough from behind us.

We both turned around in alert thinking who the hell is in the room, but we didn’t see anything.

Another cough was being made and this time we could hear that the sound came from below us. We both looked down and our eyes widened in shock.

“I’m sorry to say this but there’s something else that we have to reveal. Well to be more specific it’s I that have to reveal something.” We both looked down at how Kuro, my supposedly cat, was spewing out human language from his canine mouth.

We were both too shocked too even utter one small sound.

“Well ladies we don’t have the whole night so let’s get started shall we.” He, it, something said. I don’t even fucking know anymore. Is this even normal!?

“Nope.” I kept muttering that while shaking my head.

Aiko looked at me scared, remembering about what I just said about what I would do if I hear one more damn secret.

“What?” Kuro said.

I hunched forward grabbing Kuro by its collar carrying him towards the window.

“W-what are you doing!?” Kuro asked in an alarmed tone. Well yeah, he should be worried because I’m fucking pissed right now.

I slide open the window. ” I heard that cats always land on their feet shall we test that out?” I asked while grinning evilly.

“What!? No!” He tussled around in attempt to free himself from my grasp.

I mockingly laughed at him. “Don’t worry I also heard that cats have nine life.” As soon as I said that I threw with all my mind Kuro out of the window. I could hear his mew-like-scream as he flies meters away from my window. Hmm…I should become a baseball player or something.

I closed my window. Clapped my hand with satisfaction and walked to my bed. Aiko stared at me agape.

“Well aren’t you happy that you don’t have any secrets that you are hiding from me? Let’s go to bed, shall we?” I smiled at her.

“Y-Yeah.” She said.

We went under the covers closing our eyes waiting for the sleep to take over.

I kind of felt uncomfortable knowing that a lot of things are waiting for me, but most of all the fact that I’ve got new found powers that I’ve got to control.

Oh my god! I am a damn fairy!
