Allen and Robbie had stopped by their rooms first, to change into appropriate swimming attire before going to search for the pool. It wasn't hard to find as it was on the first floor near the gardens. Allen made a mental note to explore that next. As far as he could see, it had a sprawling walkway with stone statues placed among the greenery. It might be a good place to study.
"Hell yeah!" Allen exclaimed as they entered, the pool was free of people. He quickly discarded his shirt, hopping right into the pleasantly cool water. After doing a few somersaults and flips, he looked around for Robbie.
The Omega was sitting on the edge with his feet dangling in the water, looking apprehensive. He swished his feet back and forth, light eyebrows furrowed.
"What's wrong? Get in the water." Allen encouraged.
He shook his head. "It looks pretty deep, plus my shirt would get wet."
"So? Just take it off." Allen deadpanned.
Robbie's cheeks turned a flaming red, his eyes becomming wide. "E-excuse me?" He stuttered out.
It took Allen a moment to realize how bad that sounded. A lot of people had mixed feelings about this topic. Omega males didn't really have breasts, but toplessness was still something somewhat risky. Although Allen couldn't care less about the topic, Robbie must.
"Sorry." He shook his head quickly, as he tried to deescalate the situation. "I didn't mean it like that. If you care about your shirt getting wet then why did you wear that one?" It looked like a normal shirt to him, but whatever.
"No, it's not that." Robbie groaned, "It's just that the shirt would cling to me, and I can't really swim anyway. B-besides we're alone..."
Allen snorted. "What, you think Alphas just put their dicks in anything that moves?"
"What are we putting dicks in?" A high voice rang out playfully. Allen knew whose voice it was before he even turned around.
Robbie let out a mortified squeak, his blush creeping down his neck.
"Blenders, your Majesty." Allen regarded Scott, who was just in a pair of blue swim shorts. He was pretty scrawny, but one couldn't really tell under the suits he usually wore. Despite the fact he was thin, the gentle curve of his hips was undoubtedly Omegan. His smooth, creamy skin was mostly unblemished, aside from a few dark freckles here and there. Allen coughed and looked away, realizing he'd been ogling the raven haired man.
"I thought about that when sending Christopher home." The King nodded in a serious way, but a small smile graced his pink lips. He padded over to the stairs and stepped in. "I'm glad I'll have company while I relax for a little bit. It's been a stressful day and it's hardly noon."
Allen opted for floating on his back while Scott swam over to the pair, mostly so that he'd refrain from staring. "Are you okay, Robbie?" Allen heard Scott ask. He must still look flustered.
"Y-yeah. I just can't really swim." Robbie mumbled out nervously. The pool was rather deep, at least for anyone under six feet.
"I'll teach you then. I promise I won't let you drown." Scott said kindly. Allen glanced over to the two. Scott had a charming smile on his lips, his arm outstretched for Robbie to take.
He felt a new kind of emotion bubble in his chest. One that he didn't like.
After a few moments, Robbie relented. He took Scott's hand and allowed himself to be pulled into the water. Soon enough, they were laughing and talking as Scott taught him how to get around the pool.
The emotion continuing to bubble in his chest, Allen swallowed back the bitter feeling as he exited the pool.
"Where are you going?" Scott called out curiously.
"Oh, I have a paper due soon that I need to work on." He lied smoothly as he grabbed a towel and began drying off.
"I see. I hope you do well on it then!"
Allen started towards his room. He'd almost forgotten that this was a competition. Robbie had a chance with Scott, just like everyone else. Allen hadn't planned on being interested in Scott, but the King was not what Allen had been expecting. He figured the Omega would be stuck up and boring, like a robot who was always perfect and did as he was supposed to do.
He thought about when he'd been crowned, Allen had watched it on TV. Scott had stared into the crowd as they rioted, his face completely void of emotion. Allen was now sure that was a facade. Scott seemed so fiery and curious in person.
Either way, Allen knew now he wanted to get to know him better.
