Camilla POV
I walked into the cafeteria with a frown on my face. My mother was going to kill me if I came home late from school and it will be even worse if she found out I have detention.
I looked around and saw Liz waving at me from a table. I walked towards her and realized she wasn't the only one there.
There were three boys and another girl along with Liz.
The first boy had golden hair, sky blue eyes with tan skin, the second boy had black hair, grey eyes with light skin, the third boy had blue hair with black roots, brown eyes and light skin while the girl had golden hair, sky blue eyes and tan skin –I think the first boy and that girl are related– along with Liz with her light brown hair, black eyes and slightly tan skin.
The boys all had athletic figures while the girls had model-like figures.
I sat down with them and smiled.
"Hey Camilla." Liz said.
I waved at her.
"Camilla, I'd like to introduce you to my friends. The guy and girl with blonde hair are Max and Millie, they're twins. The guy with black hair is Liam and the guy with blue hair is Tyson." Liz introduced.
"Hi Camilla." They chorused and I waved at them.
Liam scooted his chair closer to me.
"So this is the girl everyone is talking about. I can see they didn't even come close to describing your beauty." He said.
I rolled my eyes.
"I'm flattered but I think I want to spend a few weeks here before trying to be wooed by anyone." I said innocently while smiling.
Everyone was laughing at him while he was pouting. I could tell he was a player and by the looks of it, the jokester of the group.
"You got turned down by the new girl." Max said still laughing at Liam.
"Why aren't you eating Camilla?" Liz asked me.
"I'm not hungry right now." I said and I remembered her absence in Biology and the way she's been avoiding me since then.
"Don't think you can make me forget the fact that you missed Biology and you've been avoiding me since then." I said sternly.
She smiled sheepishly and twirled her hair around her fingers.
"I thought you'd forget that." She said.
"How would I forget that you left me in Biology alone where I had to sit beside Jonathan?" I said accusingly.
"I'm sorry, something came up and I had to take care of it." She said looking down.
"Never–" I was cut off by the sound of a chair scraping the ground.
We turned around to see the one and only Jonathan Brookes sitting at our table.
