Oliver's POV

The landscape stopped moving to show I was standing on a large stone pillar. I noticed how there were several stone pillars and how in the middle there was an illustration on it. I peered over the edge of the rocks into an abyss of darkness. I carefully hopped from pillar to pillar trying to get to the illustrated pillar. In a split second two animals appeared on the, let's call it a flat instead of illustrated pillar.

There was a lioness and a king cobra staring me down. A plan started to form, if I turned into something that could easily grab the snake, while running and then manage to dodge the lioness, I'd be good. I could go as a human but I'm probably not fast enough. An ape could work, but I'm still clumsy with these forms. I'll just have to risk being too slow with my human form. The lioness roared and charged but at last minute I jumped to the side like a bull rider and took off running towards the snake. The snake lunged as I got into range, then everything fell into slow motion. I twisted my arm and grabbed the snake's neck, so it couldn't move its head. I knew the lioness was coming so I quickly changed into an ape and jumped as high as I could. I flipped in mid-air to see the lion running straight underneath me, perfect. I landed on her back, already a human. I locked my legs around her stomach and squeezed the snake until its tail tapped me and I let it go, taking it as a sign of defeat. I then put the lioness in a head lock while using my legs to make sure she didn't flip around and use her claws. The she-lion shifted back into a human and frantically patted my thigh, a sign of surrender. I let go and rolled back, I heard the people gasping for air as I helped both the people stand. One was a tall blond haired, woman the other a short white-haired man.

"You did great, you can keep your powers." the woman wheezed, still catching her breath.

"Yes!" I yelled fist bumping the air.

Both the man and woman started laughing, the man pulled a necklace out of his pocket,

"This will help you control your power."

I took the necklace and noticed it had a stone of aquamarine hanging on it. I put it on, and everything started to dissolve.

My eyes shot open to see Ben staring at me with a concerned expression.
