Charlie organized a big party for her father's birthday and invited the family members and their friends to the hotel to celebrate. But who knows who might show up from nowhere and distroy the fun? You were working in the kitchen, washing the dishes from the dinner when someone brusque enter the room and jumped on your back "(Y/n)! Please help me!!" It was Charlie who looked really panicked. "Charlie? What is it dear?" You closed the water and grabbed a hand towel to dry a little your hands before you took her cute little face between your palms. "Pancake what happened? Tell me who made you cry and I'll bit the hell out of him!" "I have a very big problem!! Can you help me?! Pleaaaaaase!!" " Sure. Anything for you sweety."

~ in the present ~

You are here because Charlie has asked you to help with the culinary dishes that are served at the party because you are one of the few employees of the hotel who knows how to cook any kind of foods. Even if you do not like to be at this party because of some old dark memories, you still help the little princess because he is dear to you. Because you love her as your own child.And because when she comed to you a day before you couldn't say 'no' to her when she putted the puppy face in the game. You just couldn't resist.

In this moment you are in the kitchen starting to prepare the final desert that will be served at the birthday party. "The dessert menu that our chef made for this evening is made of Burnt Custard, Butterscotch Pudding, Mocha Baked Alaskas, Shoofly Cupcakes, Strawbarry Ice Cream Charlotte, Figgy Apple Brie Tart, Old-Fashoned Honey Baked Apples, Apple Roly-Poly, Peach Bavarian, Apple Dumplings with Sauce, Apple Bavarian Torte, Apple Jelly Candies, Apple-Spice Angel Cake, Caramel Apple Poke Cake, Apple Cider Cupcakes with Brown Sugar Cinnamon Buttercream, Apple Caramel Apple Cheesecakes, Caramel Apple Cheesecake Napoleons, normal Cheesecake, Chocolate Pudding and a variety of cookies!" you heared Charlie presenting the deserts you made to the guests and her father. Then Husk walks into the kitchen and begins to take the sweets at the tables while you're on a ladder, arranging the apple blossoms on the cake. You made a thirteen floors apple cake.

"Oh my dear. You really put your chef at work, no joke." You heared Lucifer's voice laughting with his daughter. After you finished the cake, you started to clean the kitchen, when Husk and and Alastor got in the room "(y/n), is tha cake do... Wooooow! That is a huge ass cake!" sayed Husk. "Why so white and with so little red places?" asked Alastor. "Because it's for Lucifer, Alastor. Husk and Alastor took the cake to the dinning room and before they left the room you finished to wash the dishes and start walking back to your room before Lucifer will find out that you cooked everything. He knows the best how good you can cook and after he tastes from the cake, you know very well that he will find out. No one knows to make his favourite deserts like you do.

You and Lucifer have a complicated past. First good friends, then lovers , then you are kicked out of his life when he and Lilith decided to get married. You felt betrayed when you found out that they were a couple for almost a year behind your back. You felt like all those six years together with him were a lie. Today are 219 years since you two break up and you want to be as far away from him as possible.

"And now! We present the master piece! An enorm cake in Indian style madewith apples and decorated with apple blossoms!" The you start to hear how everyone were singing "Happy BirthDay" to Lucifer. You got in your room, took a bag with some clouths, snacks and a skatchbook and jumped from the window, going into the woods. You didn't made even ten steps in the forest and you could hear Lucifer's voice shouting angrily 'He was here all the time?!!'. After that you start running to the safe place where you spend every year when this day was coming.

You almost where at the door of the little house you made in a tree, when suddenly, something kicks your head on the bark of another tree, making you shout in pain. At first you thought it was Lucifer, but when you looked at the person who cracked your skull literally, you see Lilith looking at you with blood red eyes and an angry look on ther face. "Why aren't you erased from this world's face already!?" "That.. it's not your business Lilith.. I llefted you two to be happy and I disappeared from Lucifer's life" "Oh, so you think that will make me happy? I want you dead! Out of the existence." She tooked you from your neck starting to squeeze your neck until it will break. You started to bleed and see blurry. "... stop ..t! Li..h.. ch him!!" you could feel that there were other demons but you couldn't distinguish who they were because the last think you heared was Lucifer telling you no to close your eyes before you vision went black.

~ some hours later ~

You waked up some time ago and you didn't know were you where or what the time was. All you could see around you were many photos of Lilith, Lucifer and Charlie, Lilith and Lucifer, Lucifer and Charlie and Charlie with Vaggie. When you realized where you were you tryed to stood up from the white bed with apple prints, but as soon as you were sitting on your ass you start to feel dizzy again and fainted back on the bed.

Suddenly, the door opened and someones footsteps start to be heared in the room. A warm hand start stroking your (h/c) hair. You opened your eyes again and saw a pair of yellow like snake eyes. "How are you feeling, my dear?" It was Lucifer. Oh, you could never confuse his sweet voice or his amazing eyes or his cute smily face. You looked at him and saw a worried face with no smile. When you saw that he wasn't smiling you got scared and took his face between your palm, forgeting everything about being sacred of ouching him or talk with him after such a long time. "W-Why are you not smiling?! W-What happend?! Are you okey?!!" you forgot the little habbit that you had a long time ago and also forgot about Lilith almost killing you. "How can I smile when I know that Lilith hurted you. I couldn't belive that she could almost kill you. I know she was jelouse of you because I still have eyes for you, but.. Ah, I was so stupid! I tryed to find you for so many years and you were by my daughter's side and I didn't see! Like I was blind!" He took you in a hug and kissed your lips without hesitating.

You were shocked for a second but you kissed back, wanting more of him because you missed his touch, his kissed, his warmth.. You missed him so much. "(y/n) please forgive me... I know that I broke your heart and I know that you won't forgive me, but please.. even after I married Lilith, I couldn't get you out of my mind, of my heart. I always missed you. Even when Charlie was born I could think just that my little angel was looking just like you.. I-I.." you kissed Lucifer again before he could say something else. He just tooked you in his lap and moving his hands on your back. "Anh nhớ em quá, Lucy." "Ah~ Still love how your voice sounds in vietnamese. My sweet little boogyman~" you start tou laught at the old nickname Lucifer gived you when you started your relationship but in the next second you asked him "Why aren't you at your party?" "How could I party when I saw my ex-wife trying to kill you? If you aren't there I don't want to party anymo-" "Ex-wife?!" your got socked at what Lucifer just told you. "Yes. Me and Lilith divorced six years ago but because of Charlie we still act like her parents even if I couldn't resist staying in the same room as her. And after she comed uninvited at my bithday I got even mad, but not as angry on myself as I got when I saw that cake. No one can make such sweets without being you."

At that moment you started to think that it was your fault and start to feel anxious. Lucifer saw that and tryed to make you feel better by kissing your forehead and nose, but nothing seems to work, until Charlie entered the room. " (Y/n)!! How are you feeling?!" "I'm fine cupcake.." "Dad what happened in the forest?" Lucifer looked at his daughter with a hiden sadness in his eyes. "What do you mean my dear?" "Dad.. I know that something happened there.. I saw the guards tooking Lilith to the castel handcuffed." When you and Lucifer heared the sweet little been calling her mother by her name, you both jumped "You called her by.." "Yeah.." she sayed not letting you two finish your sentence "I.. I told her if she won't stop harassing dad I won't call her my mom ever again. And if she try to kill you again I'll take her out of the family tree and she won't be queen ever again.. Vaggie and Alastor seen it and told me after I sawed mom handcuffed.. I just wanted to hear it from you daddy.. But I thng you are more worryed about not distroying the family you made for me."

Lucifer look becamed sad and took his daughter in his lap huging her in comfort. " My dear.. you shouldn't make such a decision by yourself." "It must been hard for you, wasn't it sweety?" you asked her huging her too. "Y-Yes.. It was.. But I don't want daddy to be hurt by her again. And I don't want you to get hurt by her as well. Since you comed to work here you becomed more like a parent then me. You are always so careful with me, so gentle with Vaggie. You also helped Alastor and Angel when they were fighting and you are keeping Husky some company when Baxter it's at work. You mean a lot to me and everyone else" "M-Me?!" "Yes, you mister (y/n). You were so kind and careful with me. You helped me and all of us so much. And it will be very cute and adorable if you'll be again with daddy. He is always talking about this demon who stoled his hear many years ago and he lost him because he was blinded by a vicious woman." "C-Charlie!!" Lucifer covered his face with his hat starting ti get all blushy. "Haha! Thanks my dear. But lets see if this will work out. I don't want to force your dad to be with me without him wanting it."

At that point, Lucifer took you by your shirt's coller and kissed you. Your eyes were wide open. You couldn't belive that he just kissed you in front of his daughter. But your worries didn't last long because you meltad in the kiss, until you saw a flashlight and you two parted your lips. "Aww~ But you two were so cute kissing!" "Charlie, my dear. You should go back at the party. We will come soon. Tell your aunty not to get hyper enthusiastic when she will see us." "Okey daddy!"

Then Charlie kissed her dad's cheek and run out of the room, Lucifer remaining alone with you. "So... Now that we are alone.. Are you sure you are okey?" "Yes. My head doesn't hurt anymore. So don't worry." "That is good. I was so scared when I sawed you losing so much blood." "I'm okey now Lucy.Thanks a lot" "Um.. (y/n)? I know that I made a huge mistake.. but.. Would you like to take it from the beginning?" "Are you sure you want this? What if it will happen again?What if after so many years someone will get between us again?" "No one will get between us. I had so many projects to make those weeks and I couldn't find time and ideas to work more on this chapter.
