It’s getting late so I decide to go to bed. Suddenly, I enter a dream. For some reason, I have control. Then, I hear a voice. Jesse? He gets closer. I stutter, “J-Jesse? B-but how?!” Tears began to form in my eyes. He just looks at me and whispers, “Sometimes, you can’t trust even the closest person to you. Don’t trust him, you’ll just get hurt.” I can’t believe he’s here. I ask him, “Who? Who can I trust? Who’s ‘him’?” He doesn’t answer. He just stares at me with his blank eyes. He then says something quietly, “I’ll miss you. Goodbye, for now.” I try to reach out for him, but I fail. He turns to dust and there’s a creepy laugh echoing in the room. I wake up in a cold sweat. What just happened?
