So, here we are. As we look back we see that the unstoppable duo defeats crime and evil, even saving the world. But all has been quiet for 3 years...too quiet... Meanwhile, slinky was making a protein shake for Laughing Matter because if Matter tried he would break it just like he broke the last one. The phone rang so matter picked it up and in a Spanish accent he said "ello cumostas! How may i be of your service me compadre?" Slinky could tell that it was chief because of the loud yell that came from the phone immediately afterwards. Matter handed the phone to Slinky nervously and chief began to explain the problem he was having. Chief said that no one showed up to work at the station today. Slinky and Matter drove to one of their coworkers and when they showed up Matter thought the wife was laughing. When they went to talk to her she was actually crying in a cackling manner. She said that the coworker didn't come home yesterday evening. At that Slinky and Laughing Matter drove to the station to see what was going on. When they arrived it was quiet. They walked around and made their way downstairs. On the way down they heard talking so they crouched down on the stairs to peek into the room. Then they couldn't believe their eyes! Slinky saw chief standing among tied up coworkers! Matter only saw a bunch of chicken burritos and one choco taco because He was really hungry for, well, you know. Chief turned around and said "welcome to my underground lair". Then a man stepped out from the dark and chief continued "this is my new partner number two". Matter was laughing his butt off while Slinky jumped into action. What will happen next?
