He yelled at full throttle. "Please! Someone! Tell me! I'm not supposed to be here! I want to go home!"
Tears fell from his eyes. He backed away from the wall, and towards the middle of the room.
"Hello?" he called out one last time with a throat choked with sadness, and fell to his knees. He buried his head in his legs.
He wept...
And wept...
And wept...
And wept...
His shirt was soaked with his anxiety-driven tears as he remained there, curled up, wishing he was home. Wishing he knew he was safe. Wishing he could understand what was happening.
A shadow was casted over him. He looked up, and brushed a cluster of tears from his eyes. A woman who had opened the door was standing there. A clipboard was underneath one arm and the other was hanging loose by her hip. She had golden hair that was pinned up neatly behind her. He gaze brought a sense of youth within those grey eyes. The both of them were looking at each other for what seemed like decades, until finally she spoke.
"Don't be afraid. Everything will be alright."
Her voice was oddly soothing, and encouraged Audiney off of his knees.
"I am Nurse Bell," she introduced herself. "I will be seeing you a lot. I will also try to adjust you to your new... intimidating surroundings. I will not hurt you. I want to guide you."
Audiney breathed. "Please... tell me where I am."
