Dewi's morning had started with him waking up from an odd dream. All he could remember about it was a cage of vines protected by fire, wind, water, and beasts. Inside was both too bright and too dark to see the captive. Something told him that it was important, but only in the sense that he feels like he's had the dream before.

He had practically forgotten it, especially with the tense atmosphere left over from last night, but for some reason it stuck with him. Even when he decided to take a walk for some fresh air, a part of him is still thinking about his dream. It’s only a small unconscious part as most of his conscious thoughts are on the mess that is his roommates. After Blake’s outburst, none of them are talking to each other.

Dewi hadn’t thought the twins were even capable of fighting with each other. It seems he was wrong. Luce had holed himself in his room all day, barely leaving his room for food or the restroom. It was really weird after getting used to him fluttering around the kitchen all the time. Blake, for his part, is obviously feeling guilty but refuses to take back his actions. And Satoshi? Dewi has no idea Sato’s reaction to Blake’s demands since he had gone out, probably to classes, early in the morning and hasn’t been seen at the apartment at all.

So lost in thought, Dewi doesn’t notice the little girl coming up to him.

“Hello, child of flowers.” Her words cause him to look at her. Is she talking to me? There’s no one else around, so probably but why did she call me that? The petite female is clothed in a cutesy pink dress and wears her long blonde hair in pigtails. Dewi guesses she couldn’t be older than six.

“Oh, hello, little girl. Where are your parents?” This question seems to amuse her. She giggles. It is such a melodious sound, but something about it unnerves Dewi.

“You don’t know me? I’m Alice.” Alice tilts her head as if confused. “Was I that unimportant?”

Now Dewi is even more puzzled. Maybe she’s a distant cousin or the child of a family friend? Alice suddenly speaks again as she comes to a realization.

“Oh, right, I keep forgetting how short you humans’ lifespans are. I thought it couldn’t have been more than a few generations, but it must have been quite a number.” Alice not being human would explain Dewi's uneasy feeling towards her. Unfortunately, her words create more questions than they answer. "I'm not sure how many generations it's been, but your ancestor, Tara Ambrosia, and her friends used to play with me. Then I had to go to sleep."

"Oh…. umm…. That's too bad?" How is Dewi supposed to respond to her?

"I'm glad to meet one of her descendents. How about a present to celebrate our first meeting?"

Dewi is so confused by what's going on that he's taken totally by surprise when Alice suddenly pulls him down by the front of his shirt and kisses him on the lips. "Wha-?" He feels a tickle in the back of his throat and starts coughing.

"I specialize in granting wishes." The irritant in Dewi's throat finally dislodges and he spits it out to discover it's a tiny red bloom. "If you give your crush every single flower for the entire month, doesn't matter how they feel about you now, they will fall madly in love with you."

"But I don't-"

"Don't worry, I guarantee it will work. No need to thank me."

"That's not-"

"Well, I should let you be on your way. If you ever want to come play with me, I'm usually hanging around here." And like that, Alice leaves the perplexed Dewi worrying about what just happened.
