This book is quite fast-paced and a lot of the chapters will probably be like that if you don't like that, then sorry for the disappointment. Now please enjoy it.
Yuu sat in class listening to the teacher talking about math formulas that Yuu would most likely never use in his daily life. There was a knock at the door and the principal came in followed by a tall blond-haired boy with bright blue eyes. The principal kept the introductions short. "This is Kanemi, he'll be joining your class starting today." After he spoke the principal had left the classroom and the teacher had assigned Kanemi the empty seat behind Yuu.
For the first week, Kanemi seemed to fallow Yuu around where ever he went, at first it was annoying but after a week of it Yuu mostly ignored him. On one particularly cloudy day, Kanemi finally spoke to him. "Hey." Yuu had been reading an interesting book when he heard the voice he'd looked up both annoyed that he'd been distracted from his book and curious that Kanemi was finally talking and not just staring at him from a distance. "What?" Yuu asked with a bit more annoyance in his voice than he'd expected, Kanemi didn't seem to mind. "Why are you always alone? I never see you hanging out with anybody." Yuu blinked and frowned. Was that the only reason Kanemi had been fallowing him around for a week. Looking back down at his book Yuu answered, "I don't like other people they're too loud."
After that, Kanemi was quiet for the rest of the day, going back to just watching Yuu from a distance. The next day and the ones following that were the same Kanemi would talk to him a little bit more every day. sometimes during lunch break or in the hallways between classes. When he wasn't talking though, he stayed at a distance. Yuu realized that he was actually enjoying Kanemi's presence.
One day without thinking, Yuu invited Kanemi over to hang out. Kanemi seemed so excited though that Yuu ended up bringing him over beside the fact that he'd only known Kanemi for less than two weeks.
Kanemi flopped dawn on the couch, while Yuu grabbed some juice and chips then sat down next to Kanemi who was scrolling through the channels on TV. He stopped on a random channel and put the remote down taking a hand full of chips. Yuu drank a cup of juice and popped some chips into his mouth. They were both silent but it wasn't uncomfortable.
Suddenly something came on the TV that chilled Yuu to the bones. A murder. An image appeared on the screen it was an image of the crime scene. Yuu started shaking and his breath caught. Yuu slid to his knees and sat there shaking, his eyes wild with fear.
Kanemi jumped up from the couch then crouched next to Yuu trying to figure out what was wrong. The sudden movement knocked the remote of the couch. As it hit the ground the TV turned off.
Kanemi reached for Yuu trying to help but not sure what to do. Suddenly Yuu grabbed his hand tightly and wouldn't let go. "Hey-" Kanemi tried to pull away but Yuu was surprisingly strong. "...Please..." Yuu whispered. "What did you say? I can't hear you." Kanemi leaned closer so he could hear. "Hold my hand..." Yuu spoke a little louder and this time Kanemi heard. He stopped trying to pull away and clasped his hands around Yuu's.
They stayed like that for a while as Yuu breathed deeply trying to calm down. when Yuu had finally calmed down enough he explained to Kanemi that he had a blood phobia and he hyperventilates at the sight of blood. He didn't tell Kanemi why he had this phobia and Kanemi didn't ask, which Yuu was great full for.
A thought crossed Yuu's mind something wasn't normal about the Hyperventilation this time. it was much shorter than usual. Yuu looked at Kanemi who was lost in thought trying to wrap his head around what Yuu had just told him. Was Kanemi the reason he was felling better already?
Kanemi noticed Yuu looking at him strangely and looked around. "what is it, is something wrong?" he asked. Yuu sighed and shook his head pushing the impossible thought to the side. "It's nothing."
