The next day at school Kanemi was always right next to him in or out of class. Yuu guessed that it was probably because of what he'd told him yesterday. Although Kanemi never mentioned it, Yuu knew that he was always thinking about it.

Kanemi had come over to Yuu's house many times before he calmed down. He was always on guard for anything that could hurt Yuu. One day Kanemi told him that he was too carefree about his health. Yuu had shaken his head and said that he was used to it by now.

Yuu and Kanemi had been walking to Yuu's house again, Kanemi had mostly calmed down by then when something happened. A large burly man had emerged from the shadows with a knife in hand screaming, "DIE!" Thrusting the knife towards Yuu. Kanemi grabbed Yuu's wrist and ran, the man close behind them. Kanemi turned left and right, he didn't stop until he was sure that he'd lost him.

Letting go of Yuu wrist Kanemi leaned against the wall trying to catch his breath. That's when he noticed the expression on Yuu's face. His eyes wide staring at the ground.

Yuu had seen that man before but were? His mind raced, trying to figure out were he's seen that man before. Suddenly his froze, "oh." Yuu looked at Kanemi who was watching him worriedly then looked down at his hands. The man was one of the people that had been at his house with the black-haired boy the night his parents were murdered the man had sneered at him before Yuu had escaped that night.

Suddenly Yuu's hand hung at his sides and his eyes went blank. "What the-" Kanemi watched Yuu. something had happened. Yuu stood there like a doll not moving with lifeless eyes. "Hey." Kanemi waved his hand in front of Yuu but there was no reaction. Kanemi shook him but still nothing. He snapped in front of Yuu's face but he didn't even flinch.

 "Tch." Kanemi clicked his tongue. Grabbing Yuu's shoulders he brought Yuu to his house. Yuu took the key out of his pocket but didn't do anything else. Kanemi took the key and unlocked the door ten brought Yuu inside and lay him down on the couch after a few minutes he fell asleep. Kanemi went home deciding that letting him sleep would help.
