"No offense Zeke, but your house when we walked in looked like the police came, put some tape up, and left," said Jayden. "That's just stupid. Why would they do tha—Jayden?! Is that your dad?!" Jayden covered my mouth to shut me up. "Holy crap...I thought he said he worked for a massive business, this is the last place I would see him" Jayden grabbed my hand and walked over there.
"Hey! What the hell is this!" Jayden yelled. "Son? What are you doing out of school so early? Your education is way more important since your future job is on your waiting list," He said. "My friends are more important than some stupid job I never wanted, the college I never wanted to go to when I get out of high school!" Jayden yelled and his father slapped him. "Leave him alone and get off my mother's property!" I yelled so loud with rage that they went quiet...then silence broke with Jayden's father laughing. "Oh I usually fake it around Jayden's friends, but now that you witnessed it, it's even better" An evil grin appeared on his place as he bent down to our level, then pulling a gun out of his pocket pointing it at me. "Do what he said," Jayden strictly told him to his face. "Gosh, cheating on your girlfriend must be so disappointing to her. I told you not to date anyone, not even him" he strictly said. "I never wanted to be with her, plus I only like Zeke and it's staying that way whether you like it or not" Jayden kicked the gun out of his hand and pointed it at him. "Leave or I'm calling the government police. That's right father; I still have contact with mom. She'll kick your ass and send you to jail for the rest of your life" Jayden threatened. I've never seen him this scary..it's scarier than when he used to bully me. "You're coming home and if you don't. I'll hunt you down until I find you. There's nowhere else to hide son" He laughed then walked away. I felt the anger that was going through Jayden. It's like he could blow up at any minute. "Jayden..calm down..he's gone. Please drop the pistol before you hurt someone" I heard the pistol hit the ground, then Jayden hugged me which surprised me since he rarely does. "Jayden-air" He stopped hugging me and started crying. "I'm sorry I just couldn't breathe." I apologized and he shook his head. "That wasn't it..just my emotions all over the place," Jayden stated with his voice cracking and tears were down his face. "I can give you a hug when we get home or if you want to suffocate me you can hug my turtle plush," I suggested making him laugh.
"Oh my goodness?! Are you okay?!" My brother hugged me and my sister was just there shocked. "What the hell happened?" She asked. "We're fine, but shaken up. No one got hurt." I told her making her look relieved, then she hugged me too. "Although I appreciate the hugs I kinda want to be left alone for a while." They broke the hug and I started shaking. "I-I can't believe mom is go-gone.." I said with tears down my face. "We can't believe it either.," Ray confessed and I went up to Jayden to hug him. "I thought you said you wanted to be alone Zeke." Let me hug you damn it! "No..I never said that..." Jayden sighed and hugged me in return. "You said it, Zeke." RAY! "Just let me hug my boyfriend!" Zeke yelled making Wyn laugh. "Well it was nice meeting you, but if you excuse us I'm going to bake him some snickerdoodles to make him feel less sad." Jayden grabbed my hand walking us towards the bakery.
"Why would you protect me with a gun?" I asked. "He could have killed you, plus if I lost you my world would turn dark and empty.." Jayden answered. "Mine would be too.." I confessed as my face turned a light shade of red.
