Alone in the darkness,

what is the meaning of your kindness?

To the place I have yearned for,

I ran into it’s very core

Wind blows to tomorrow,

my heart bends in sorrow

Courage within sadness;

Light is within stillness

I wonder what awaits me;

reason is what I wanted to see

Tears in this sky- why so vile?

Hoping one day it would change into a smile

The rain slips between my fingers,

afraid that trust will not linger,

surface shows the path to the moon,

why have you forgotten me so soon?

These hands could've made something-

to this crooked path that I am taking

Nothing awaits my strong feelings,

only brokenness and bad endings

But I was able to step forward,

for I am no coward

Tears in my eye-why so vile?

Surely someday, will turn into smile
