Ding Dong

The door bell rang. Seems like the food i ordered have arrived.

Still, I know nothing about this dog girl. I don’t know where to start talking. I don't know how to ask about her past. Also, I don’t think she is comfortable in talking about it. So, I too decided not to keep disturbing her about it.

The food is more than enough for both. But, still i ordered some extra food. 

She was too injured and tired. Hope she would eat the food and take a good sleep.

Let me ask about her problem, tomorrow. 

“Hey girl, the food has arrived.”

By the way, what was her name? I want to ask her name first.

I thought she would come running for the food but she didn't come. What is she doing?

I searched for her, and in one corner i found her sleeping quietly. I slowly shook her shoulders to wake her up.

“Hey, come, Let’s eat food. Sleep after eating.” She looked me with a innocent look.

Suddenly after few minutes, she realized what I meant.

I gave her parcel to her. She started eating. I left my parcel in the table and searched for the remote of TV.

As I switched on my TV, I found my parcel missing.

“Oi.. give my parcel to me.” 

She looked at me for 2 minutes, acting as if she couldn’t understand what I was talking about.

“Okay. Since you were hungry, I ordered extra. I will eat those.”

“No, you can’t eat others food, those were ordered for me.” The silent girl suddenly started speaking.

“Oh! Then give my parcel to me.”

“Nope, that too belongs to me.”

“Wait, What? Do you want me to starve? If you don’t give me mine I will eat yours.”

So, my guess was correct. This dog girl is certainly a big thief, as well as a big actress.

Once again she looked at me innocently trying to please me. But, sorry, I am not falling for it. Since, I didn’t give in. She finally gave up.

“I will return your food, but, if I do that, I want you.. you to.. you to pat my head.” Once again those words were told so innocently.

The way she told it made me go chill for a moment.

“Ha.. okay. Patting the head of a dog is something normal.” Dogs love when we pat their head, right.

As she gave me my parcel, I placed my hand on her head.She closed her eyes and looked down. As i patted, I could feel her smiling. I never knew, it was this simple to make dogs happy.

“MORE THAN 75 PEOPLE WERE SEVERELY INJURED BY A MYSTERIOUS CREATURE AT THE 22ND STREET DURING THE EVENING. NO BODY KNOWS ANY DETAIL ABOUT IT. STAY TUNED FOR FURTHER INFORMATION.”

As I was eating, I saw the flash news. This news made my heart stop for a moment. The 22nd street was the place where I found this dog girl. It was at evening time. I was wondering that the place was unusually empty.

Definitely this girl’s injury must be because of that creature. But, what was that mysterious creature? Why did it attack those many people? Will it attack this place also?

As I saw of the footage of those injured people, unusual fear sets up in me.

“Do you know about this? Say whatever you know about that!” I asked the dog girl who was eating casually without showing any interest in that news.

After I asked the question, she slowly sees me. But, this time her expression became so serious. I could say that she was going to talk about something important.

“I can’t remember anything. The last thing I could remember was the sound of the gunshot. After that, everything went blank. I thought I died. But, luckily the bullet didn’t hit me. When I came to conscious, I was lying on the road. There was an injury in my right leg. To escape from those guys, I slowly tried my best and hid inside that dustbin. It was at that time, you discovered me. Seriously, i have no idea of what might have happened.”

She told me about the incident. By what she says, i could guess what might have happened.

She should have fainted from the fear of gunshot. It should be at that moment, where the mysterious creature should have attacked everyone. The injury on her leg may be because of that mysterious creature.

Can it also be a product from those idiotic experiments? 

When you link a wild animal with human, the human becomes wild and attacks everyone on sight. If that was the case, then it should still be roaming somewhere. They might have identified about that creature. But, there was no information available.

Maybe, the people, who were behind those experiments, took that creature back to their place. What were they planning to do with that creature? 

They may even come to get the dog girl back.

If they come and ask me to return her, what do I need to say to them?

I don’t even know how many creatures were created by them? Do they plan to do something? If they are creating such dangerous creatures, then seriously, I need to do something about this, or else, something wrong can happen, anytime.

Maybe, i need to talk to some higher officials about this situation.

But, if I do that, this dog girl will also face many problems.

What should I do?

Ignoring this, will lead to some huge problem.
