“I know, I just am trying to get used to everything.” He said letting out a big sigh. “It’s just I never thought it would be okay to you know, and I’ve never really felt this way towards anyone and it scares me. I’m just trying to figure things out and I just don’t know what to do.” He said looking so defeated that I couldn’t even stop myself. I wrapped him in my arms and held him tight.

“I’ll help you with anything and everything as long as you let me. I don’t know what you’ve been through or how bad you’ve been treated in the past but I’m here now so you don’t need to worry.” I said hugging him. He was still tensed but after a little while he wrapped his arms around me too.

“I think the foods burning.” He half laughed as he released me.

“Shit” I said hurrying over to the stove check everything. Nothing burned thankfully but they were definitely done.
