I wake up half off the bed and my pillow and blanket across the room, "ahh" I say with a yawn. I topple across the room picking up my pillow and blanket, then make my bed. I sit on my newly set bed, thinking to myself "Sonnar said to go to room 107 if I need her right?" I wonder if she knows anything about Ava, "if I leave it need to be before Margret does rollcall." speak of the devil, Margaret opens the metal door and storms into my room. "Good morning Margaret," I say as sarcastically as possible, she gives me a creepy terrifying smile "good morning 761757, I have some news for you this lovely morning," she laughs "you are forbidden to leave your room till further notice." I give her a confused look, "what are you talking about? I did nothing wrong!" she laughed again "you were caught talking to a criminal 718889, so you are on lockdown meaning if I see you out of your room there gonna be way worse punishment then skipping a meal."She continues to laugh slamming the metal door in my face causing the whole room to shake, I scream throwing my crutch across the room, " if I never got myself involved with that stupid idiotic mother," I cover my face with my hands  mumbling some of my words "I wouldn't be in this mess." I try to stand but my knee gives out and I do a face plant into the floor tiles, "ugh, now I'm on lockdown and my crutch is halfway across the room and I can't get it without doing another face plant!" I turn around to reach under my bed grabbing two objects, luckily god gave me the gift of flexibility to make up for the fact that I'm crippled and have no upper body strength. "Only one thing can make me happy right now!" I open sky's box to let him fly around and start to read my dictionary to expand my vocabulary. My nose is deep in my book, till sky lands on my finger while I'm turning the page, "good boy" I say giving him a head scratch. I look at my little birdy, "your the closest thing I've ever had to a family," I stroke sky's feathers getting lost in thought. "knock, knock" I hear coming from the door I quickly throw my book under my bed, "sorry sky" I whisper placing him in the box and carefully place it under my bed. The door slowly starts to open "sorry" I yell "my crutch is over there and" I stare at the person standing in my doorway. "how?"
