Axle and Nick watched as the bus pulled into the stop. Axle walked up the steps and headed to the back, getting weird glances as he held an ice pack to his cheek. Nick followed him on and walked to the back with him. They sat down and Axle took out his phone, momentarily putting his icepack down. Axle jumped when something cold was pressed against his cheek again. Axle looked to see Nick holding it against his cheek,

"I'll hold it you get whatever you need out of your backpack. I just don't want your cheek swelling up."

Axle softly smiled and got out his phone with his earbuds. He quickly untangled them and held one out for Nick. Nick smiled and put it in his ear, Axle hit shuffle play and closed his eyes. The bus ride was unusually bumpy, the bus must've hit a pothole because Nick was thrown into Axle's lap. Axle looked up and saw there was smoke coming from the front of the bus. They didn't hit a pothole, the bus was on fire. The bus screeched to a stop and Axle jumped up and ran to the emergency doors in the back. He unlocked them and started helping people out of the bus, Nick appeared on the other side helping people out. Axle saw a little girl hiding under the seats and hopped back into the bus ignoring Nick's shouting,

"Hey man, what are you doing? Get out of there."

Axle slid down and offered the girl his hand,

"Hey come with me, I'll take you out, safe and sound."

The little girl nodded and took Axle's hand, Axle pulled her out and picked her up. He ran to the back of the bus and handed the girl to Nick. Axle then hopped out and Nick handed the girl back to Axle. They ran to where everyone was gathered and Axle spoke up,

"Is everyone here! We have a little girl here, does anyone know where her parents are?"

A man rushed forward and the little girl held her arms out to the man. The man sobbed as he hugged his daughter.

"The driver! Where's the driver?"

No one answered, Axle turned and booked it back to the bus with Nick on his tail. They made it to the bus and opened the door, the driver was unconscious Axle tossed his phone to Nick,

"Call an ambulance and the fire department."

Nick nodded, Axle pulled the man out of the bus and pulled one arm over his shoulder while Nick took the driver's other arm. They made it back to the group and Axle asked again,

"Is there anyone missing, speak up now!"

"My daughter! I can't find her anywhere!"

Axle turned once again and ran towards the bus, he dove through the back and saw a girl almost Axle's age lying in one of the seats, coughing. Axle took her arm and pulled her up, he went as quickly as he could with the girl. He made it outside but Axle was coughing from inhaling too much smoke. Axle made it back to the group and the mother ran to her daughter just as Axle could hear sirens approaching. Axle felt dizzy from the smoke, Nick swiftly grabbed Axle before he could collapse. Axle had a coughing fit and Nick helped him sit down, first responders ran over to us while the fire department took care of the bus.
