For the record, yes, i am rich. i'm not gonna deny it. my mother is the head of the emergency room at the hospital, and my dad buys and sells properties.  those who know i'm rich think i'm snotty and snobby, classic stereotypical stuff. i hope i'm not. this leaves me with mental insecurities and no friends. also, my real name is not pirate. that is a nickname my brother julien came up with. my real name is felicity Cecilia lavender Gorgeson. do you see why i use the name pirate now ?

i try not to be like my family. the main thing that divides me from mother and father dearest is that i am very very lesbian, and i have a super big crush on my neighbor who recently moved in. i don't know how my family would react to this because i hardly ever get to see them unless im begging for money, which i hardly ever do because i work in a vegan cafe. i use the money to dye my hair green in an attempt at rebellion. anyway, my family, like many things, do not consider the LGBT community to be part of their lives, so me and my bro Julien, who is also gay, have to keep quiet. which isn't hard, because we hardly ever see our parents. Julien also has a crush on one of our other neighbors, Alex. 

Anyway, my crush. i don't have a chance with her because until today i thought she was straight (that's why i chose to tell you about today) . she has a short brown bob which really goes well with her blue glasses, and ...wait, you thought i was talking about Esmeree, didn't you? nope. not my type. i'm talking about Catherine. she moved in with her cousin Ellie' family not long ago, and...basically, i fell in love with her. no, we've never had a detailed conversation, but i stalk her social media.

So anyway, school today. you're probably thinking, wait, pirate, why does a rich kid like you go to a public school? well, i went to a really posh private boarding school, but i faked a letter to my parents saying i was being bullied and asked to go to our local high school, Llamawicz. and, you guessed it, the only reason i went to get closer to Catherine. but i might as well have not quit the other school ; Cath only hangs out with Ellie, her cousin, is virtually unaware of my existence despite living on the same street, and we only share one class : English with Mrs gayzarebad. my chances of flirting with the same gender in her classes are impossible due to her homophobia. 

Today in class was Esmeree's first day. i chose to talk about today because throughout the whole lesson, from the back of the class, i observed one thing : Cath, the love of my life, spent the whole lesson staring at Esmeree and blushing.
