so, i'm not great at bottling up feelings or important thoughts. Normally, I can speak to Catherine, or alex, our neighbour across the road, but Catherine...I don't know how she'd react to this sort of thing and alex ...they gossip. a lot. my parents are a definite no-no, my bro Jace is too young for relationship advice , I barely know pirate... that leaves one option. Julien, pirate's big brother. he's twenty, and gay, so he'll know what I should do. i'm talking about the Esmeree situation, by the way. she is just tooooooooo sexy. I kinda stared at her all through English. and cath got a detention. she's still not back. I prepare to go to Julien's, but out the window, I see pirate and cath walking together. they say goodbye, and pirate walks back to her house at the end of the crescent. that's our street. pirate and Julien live in the huge house at the end of the cul de sac, next to us. opposite us is Alex, who is 22 and lives alone. they have a very good relationship with cath. next to us is miss gayzarebad, then Esmeree and her bro who I think is called Harrison.

Anyway, cath comes in, all smiles. " how was dt?"

" oh just wonderful" she says sarcastically. 

" how was pirate?"

" we should talk to lonely people more often you know. she wasn't half bad. "

"oh i'm insulted!" we laugh. I get what she means. we probably should be more open and try to make more friends. but I really value my time with her, and don't see that much in other people at Llamawicz. Yeah, i'm kinda pessimistic about the whole 'friends' thing. "i'm going to Julien's!" I say, and before she can question me about why, I run out the door and down the lane.
