there they are, out on their front lawn in the rainbow deckchair. sipping on a bloody mary cocktail to annoy mary gayzarebad, the local homophobe, flashing their gorgeous  blonde locks and fancy dressing gown thing. it looks like silk, and hangs off their body so well...interrupting my view of the gorgeous gender fluid angel  Alex is Ellie running towards the side door of my house. she only visits me in that kind of a rush when there's something on her mind. judging by her speed, it's something pretty big. 

Ellie is my 15-year old neighbour, and often comes to me for advice. this is great and all, but she's interrupting my view of Alex. Alex is 22, genderfluid and HOT.  

I let Ellie into my house. she's kinda shy, but not as shy as me. I can normally only confide in her and my sister. "JULIEN I NEED YOUR HELP CAN I COME IN PLEASE " blurts out of her mouth. I sneak her in the side door so no-one sees, not that anyone would see; my parents are hardly ever in . I take her to the conservatory, and make some tea. Normally at this point, she just blurts out her problems without me having to speak at all. today, it must be pretty big because I actually have to say "what's wrong?" then she gets started. 

" well ya know the new people who moved in next to miss homophobe? well, one of them is a really hot girl called Esmeree and she's in one class that me , cath and Pirate share which is English with miss gayzarebad so I can't flirt with her there but she sits next to me so i'm expected to make light conversation but I have no idea is esmeree straight  ? you've gotta help me here Julien..."

" is she giving off straight vibes? does she flirt with anyone in particular? did she talk to you as a friend, or...?

" I have one class with her how am I supposed to know ? also, the one thing she said to me the whole lesson (miss gayzarebad likes silence) is that the teacher's a bitch, so that could be taken either way..."  i'd kind of stopped paying attention to her by then, and was staring out the window at alex again. she saw.

" you and alex, heh? that would be interesting. "

"wait what? nooooo….you don't understand...."

"oh come on, it's obvious. "

I couldn't deny it any further, so we carried on chatting and wondering what we should do, and I invited her over for curry night tomorrow. she said yes, obviously, she loves curry, and left. I stared at alex for a bit more, then went to read in the library.
