Pirate

I'm so nervous. i cant believe i actually invited her. i cant believe i actually invited her. i cant believe i actually invited her. i cant believe i actually invited her.

i hear the doorbell ring. oh no oh no oh no. i head downstairs and open the door. shes standing there looking more beautiful than i've ever seen her. her blonde-brown hair tucked behind her ears. her smile. it makes me smile.

"hey.." she says

"um h-hi..." i stutter

i stand there awkwardly staring at her for a few seconds and then remember that shes here for food.

"oh..um come in, yeah. it'll be ready in a few minutes." i say.

i lead her into the dining room where julian is setting the table.

"oh hi! you must be cath. im julian nice to see you!"

he heads into the kitchen.

"i'm glad you could come!" i say, kind of getting over my nerves.

"yeah i've been looking forward to it." she says, smiling.

"it's ready!" julian yells

pirates brother julian walks in with two big bowls, one of curry, one of rice. it looks delicious.

"wow this looks great!" i say, starving. i sit down next to pirate at the table and smile at her.

"who cooked it?" i ask

"julian. he's a really good cook."

"where are your parents?"

"oh they're both at work. they work quite late." pirate says looking uncomfortable.

i change the subject, sensing the awkwardness.

we sit, we eat, we chat(with julian who's actually really nice). its honestly a lot of fun. by the end, i'm stuffed.

"thank you so much that was delicious." i say to julian.

"you're welcome anytime you know!" he says

pirate asks me to come upstairs so i can see her room and all i can say is wow. it's a huge house with about 10000000000 rooms. her room is about 3 times the size of mine.

"well, goodbye. i had a great time. maybe you can come over mine sometime." i say

"id love that.."pirate says. out of nowhere i hug her. a two second hug? yes. but a hug. i feel her shaking.

"see ya!" i grin.
