“Did you see that? A crater appeared unexplained in a street not far from here... They say it's probably evidence of an alien passage, Ambre said as she was reading a press article on her phone in the main room.
— Really... It's either a bad joke or a meteorite, replied Juliette, sceptical, from her bedroom.
— No, it can't be a meteorite, the diameter is too small...
— If you say so...
— Of course, the formula for calculating the diameter of a meteorite's impact crater is 1.45 times the cubic root of the fraction of p index i on p index c times phi index i raised to the 0.78-th power times v index i raised to the 0.44-th power times g raised to the -0.22-th power times the cubic root of...
— Multiplied by the cubic root of the sine of theta, I know... Juliette sighed.
— Then why do you not want to understand that I'm right?...
— Okay, you're right, she yielded, knowing very well that she would not have the last word. It wasn't a meteorite that crashed into the city last night, and what's your hypothesis, then?
— An alien landing, Ambre replied straight away.
— But of course...
— I assure you! she began.
— Instead of blathering on nonsense, you better get ready...
— Why? Ambre wondered as she looked up and found a perfectly dressed Juliette.
— I... Don't tell me you forgot?! exclaimed the latter.
— What are you talking about?
— Seriously, I can't take it anymore...
— But what's going on?
— Well, too bad... Juliette sighed. Since you don't remember our promise, I guess I don't have to keep it anymore and take you on a date...
— Eh?! A date?! But why didn't you warn me? Ambre exclaimed as she stood up.
— What do you think I've been doing since this morning?!
— Give me thirty seconds and I'm ready! Ambre shouted as she rushed to get changed.
— Too late... lied Juliette to tease her.
— Oh, please, Juju! begged her girlfriend.
— All right, all right, but hurry up!
— No problem!
— And don't call me “Juju”!” cried Juliette as she realized how she was just called.
When Ambre returned to the hall, she was wearing a two-tone sweater with short and wide purple sleeves reaching to her elbows and a pair of jeans. She had also taken the time to slightly brush off the blond anarchy that she used as a mane of hair so as to slightly order it and had tied the strands on her temples at the back of the head with a fancy barrette.
Juliette had put on a long green skirt and a beige wool sweater over a white blouse and styled her beautiful brown hair into a pretty bun on the top of her head.
At last, they were ready to go out and start their long-awaited date.
As soon as they came out, Ambre grabbed her partner and walked arm in arm, making her startle. Despite the embarrassment she felt at that moment, Juliette did not have the heart to free herself.
“Say, where are you taking me? asked Ambre, impatient.
— You'll see...” replied Juliette, sparing the suspense.

It was a thirty-minute walk for the two young women to get to the meeting place.
“An aquarium! exclaimed Ambre, whose lips were now forming an even bigger smile.
— I thought I heard you say you hadn't been there yet, so... Juliette justified herself.
— Yes! I've been looking for a reason to take you there for a while, her girlfriend added.
— Were you so eager to go? she wondered, relieved. I made the right choice, then... ”
Ambre nodded.
“Yes, it seems they have penguins, she added, all in joy. And, in addition, aquariums are always full of dark corners, perfect for snuggling.
— I... stammered Juliet. Is that why you wanted to come?
— For that. And for the penguins, she replied, straight away. Penguins are just too cute...
— You know there's no chance for what you're thinking, and whatever it is, does happen? checked the young woman, careful.
— If you say so...”
Ambre had already stopped listening to what she was saying and had brought her attention to the attractive posters that were posted on the facade of the aquarium.
Without waiting any longer, they decided to enter and, after paying for their tickets and receiving an abstruse map of the place, began to visit it.
They passed successively in front of aquariums full of river fish and others, full of tropical fish.
There was even, in a corner, a small aquarium containing axolotls, small creatures that always fascinated Juliette.
In this same little corner of darkness, Ambre, no matter how hard she tries to get closer to her, Juliette brilliantly succeeds to dodge her.
The leaflet they had been given at the entrance said that a show with penguins was scheduled for late afternoon, so they decided to wander through the corridors in the meantime, going for a walk around the turtle pens and the vivariums where coloured lizards were lounging, as well as the aquariums with jellyfish and stingrays.
At Ambre's insistence, they arrived well in time for the outdoor show and sat in the very first rows so as not to miss anything. However, as Juliette had anticipated, not missing anything also meant not missing anything from the splashes, so they both found themselves soaked to the bone, but enchanted by the ballet of the little polar creatures.
After a short break at the aquarium's café restaurant to hydrate and enjoy some crepes and ice creams, the two women decided it was time to leave. They made a last little walk through the corridors, hand in hand, the only concession Juliette had accepted and then left.
As they were leaving the aquarium, a voice called out to them.
“Juliette! Ambre! Quick, hide me! she exclaimed.
It was Gabrielle dressed in one of her cute gothic outfits that ran up to them, looking panicked.
“What's the matter with you? Juliette asked. It's not like you to lose your cool...
— I... It's because of her...” scuttled the girl by diving into the back of the surprised one, to Ambre's great displeasure.
As she clumsily tried to hide, she pointed to a figure that was approaching just as quickly.
As she dangerously approached, Ambre, no longer able to resist, softly pushed Gabrielle to her side to take her place against her sweetheart, squeezing her by the waist and burying her face against her back.
Gabrielle, thus thrown to the lions, wasn't overconfident when the silhouette which turned out to be a tall woman with blue eyes and a tomboy's hairstyle, reached them.
“Why are you running away like that? complains Erienin when he gets to their level.
— The question is why do you keep following me like this?! replied Gabrielle.
— I told you, we're made for...
— I know, I know, she sighed.
— Aren't you going to introduce us, Gabrielle? asked Juliette, confused.
— Oh, you're right, sorry! Realized this one. This is Erienin, an...”
The vampire stopped, not knowing how to describe her self-proclaimed soulmate.
“An alien! completed the said soulmate. I come from the constellation of the octopus to find my significant other.
— A fool who's been following me around for a few days...” finished the vampire.
Hearing this, Ambre turned to her partner and gave her a strong glance, a satisfied look on her face.
“What? Juliette defended herself.
— See, I was right! It was an alien who left that crater in the city!
— A woman comes along, tells you she's an alien and you immediately believe her? she replied, in bad faith.
— No, but...
— This time, Ambre is right... reluctantly admitted Gabrielle. Eri is indeed an alien.
— Of course!” exclaimed the woman, falsely offended.
With these words, the young alien jumped into the arms of her beautiful, taking back to the original form of an amorphous blob of green jelly in full jump.
A few seconds later, she regained her princess charming appearance, still in Gabrielle's arms, who staggered under her weight.
“Frankly, you're heavy, she complained.
— Only figuratively, I hope?
— No, even more literally, actually...
— That's mean, Princess!”
Without further ado, Gabrielle let go of her embrace.
In reality, her superhuman strength, although weakened in this early evening, was more than enough to carry someone of Erienin's stature. The young woman simply did not like the drum she was feeling in her chest.
Erienin fell mercilessly on the asphalt.
As Juliette helped her to get up, the alien jumped up and, regaining a form of composure, grabbed her chin and said:
“Thank you very much, Princ...”
Nevertheless, she was suddenly cut off in her speech by Ambre who sent her back to Gabrielle's arms for the greatest relief of Juliette who didn't know how to react.
“And then you claim I'm your soul mate... she grunted, somewhat jealous.
— It was just a courtesy,” the alien defended herself.
Ambre then approached her.
“Juju is mine. Understood?” she asked.
As she said this, she gave her a cold glance before turning to her beautiful to grab her by the waist and kiss her, just to add weight to her statement. The young woman was however stopped in her action by the latter who was beginning to get used to these small manoeuvres.
As she said this, she gave him a cold look before turning to her beautiful to grab her by the waist and kiss her, just to add weight to her statement. The young woman was nevertheless stopped in her action by the latter who was beginning to get used to these small maneuvers.
After unsuccessfully trying to override the hand on her forehead that prevented her from proving these claims, Ambre finally gave up, not without a sigh of displeasure.
The message had nevertheless been perfectly understood by the alien whose intention had never been to steal her anyway.
“Don't worry, I have absolutely no intention of stealing her heart.
— Really? Ambre checked, sceptical.
— As long as you don't try to steal my princess.
— No problem as long as you do the same!”
Sealing the pact, those two shook hands vigorously.
Hearing this, and in perfect synchronization, Gabrielle and Juliette hit a small slap on the back of the other two heads.
They, confused by such an undeserved punishment, exclaimed with one voice:
“Princess?!
— Juju?!”
Immediately triggering another blow just as deserved as the previous one.
