“Kiba…” Tears run down Shinkuu eye, her voice shook as she pronounced the name she refused for so long to say aloud to repress one of her most painful memories. It, the unmoved guardian of the evergreen garden, lowered its head, its eyes closed and crying as well.

- I’m sorry, Shinkuu… but this isn’t the place you should go – said the big white dog.

- Kiba…

Kiba turned towards the garden and, behind it, the golden gate closed its doors to the girl. Eventually, the shape of Kiba vanished, leaving Shinkuu alone again, contemplating the vast vivid garden. Shinkuu couldn’t stop the tears, not because she wasn’t allowed to the marvelous garden, but the remembrance and the vision of her dearest friend. “At least… I was able to see you one last time, dear friend” A howling from a far distance echoing through the space accompanied Shinkuu as she walked towards the desolated valley.

It is curious how my life was until the moment I died: when I thought I got something beautiful to be happy about, it was taken from me such happiness, as if the whole world wanted to teach me that there is no such thing out there. When I thought I had a happy family, I lost it. When I thought I had the chance to have a new happy life, this new life was somehow painful than before. When I thought I finally found a friend, someone to be with no matter my appearance, my past, my limitations… life just laughed at my face and took it from me as if it was nothing. Now that I took my own life, I wonder if this should be considered a victory or a defeat. Not that it matters, anyway. If Kiba was here, but wasn’t the one that it was waiting for me, then, who in the world could it be?
