"okay" I mudder "is there another bed or something," I ask. "sadly no" Evan responds "but we can either switch between the floor and bed or just we can just share the bed, you choose?" I take a moment to think, "I really don't care" I respond. "well" Evan smiles "I don't want to sleep on the floor," "okay" I say looking around the room "do you know where my crutch went?" I ask Evan. he pulls out my good leg and pushes my torso making me lay on the bed, "don't worry about that right now let's get some sleep" Evan yawns "okay" I mutter "don't touch my bad knee" he nods throwing a blanket and pillow at my head. I wake up in a really awkward position between the wall and bed I try to brush out my bed head with my fingers, I pull off my blanket to look for room 107. I reach back to grad my crutch which was missing from its usual spot, I look around the room "where did Evan put it?" I look down seeing Evan snuggling up to my foot. "what are you doing?" I yell using my good leg to push him off the bed and slide into the corner, "what" Evan says getting off the floor rudding the back of his neck. Evan full opened his eyes, looking at me with a big cheeky grin, "why are you blushing alexander" Evan teases "no" I say covering my face "and just call me Alex" "okay Alexander, I'm gonna get us some breakfast" Evan smiles. "its Alex," I yell as he leaves the room, I lay down flat on the bed that's the most human contact I've had in years. I hear sky going crazy in his box, I quickly open his box feeling bad for forgetting he was in my sock. I let him fly around the room, I hear the door creak open, I try to get sky to perch but he deicide to do another lap not giving me another time to place him back in his box. I quickly find sky behind my back, Evan walks in carrying two trays of mashed potatoes, "Alexander," Evan says I look at him "what's behind your back?" he asks "nothing" I say shaking my head. he places the trays on the floor and walks toward me, "I don't like lairs, if you lie to me there will be punishments." I can see the bloodlust in his eyes like he's going to kill, "this is sky" I smile pulling him out from my back, Evan leans down to look him in the eyes, even gives a slight smile scratching the back of his neck. "where did you get him?" "Evan asks holding sky in his hands, "he was in the holding room as a baby after the caretaker killed his mother I took him in he's really the only family I have left," I smile stroking his feathers. "interesting" Evan whispers, "why?" I ask, "it's just that when you lie you're really compelling like you always tell the truth," Evan says emotionless. "really," I say trying to act confused, "that's why it doesn't make any sense" he glared, "what are you talking about" I ask, "its just that would see to be the kind of person that could keep a secret till the day you die so how did you get caught," Evan asked. I place my hand on the back of my neck "room check" I said. Evan sighs falling forward "alexander, we both know that the x-medical wing doesn't do room checks", he wraps his body around me, with this legs over mine, his left arm around my waist gripping my shirt, his other arm holding the back of my neck. he rests his chin on my shoulder, I can feel his breath on my neck, the warmth of his body and the beating of his heart. Evan" lift his head starring at me "Alexander your blushing" he laughs, I look away for him so he can't see my face. "fine, I need my crutch to show you" Evan slowly sits up beside me, "do you think I'm stupid" Evan whispers "you'll leave just like Connie did" I look over at him "I won't I promise." he walked up in front of me "what will happen if you do" even smiles "you can do anything you want to me" I respond. Evan gives me my crutch, his eyes widen when I take out the red deer stamp.
