**This episode is from Alinor's perspective**
Alinor stands in front of The Bar as the sun rises over the walls of the city, pretty, too bad I'm not viewing it with sleeping beauty right now, he chuckles to himself before heading inside. He nods to the innkeeper and takes a seat at the table to wait for Haaru to come downstairs, "Piles of bacon, some eggs and coffee, maybe some hash as well," he gives a soft smile to the waitress as he pulls out some parchment to draw a bit while he waits.
A sigh pulls Alinor's attention from the drawing he's working on, "You have quite the imagination of what I'll look like on a bed..." Haaru crosses their arms and glares down at Alinor.
"I ... dreams ... it was actually a rather sad moment I saw, though I don't know why you were sad" Alinor stares down at the table
"You dreamed of me, being sad on your bed?" there's a soft laugh that has Alinor blushing.
"N-not my bed ... I had a sense that I was at the door of your room," he sighs, "I heard you cry out, and I came to see if you were alright, but you didn't seem to know I was there"
Haaru grabs the page and looks at it for a few moments, pulling it away when Alinor tries to grab it back, "it does look like a room I would put together ... though I seem to have new scars in this image ... so you .. what? glimpsed the future?"
"I don't know, I was thinking about how to put a genuine smile on your face last night before I went to sleep and then..." he shrugs and gestures towards the drawing I seem creepy now ... great
Haaru moves away a bit, and Alinor has a slight panic before he sees food being set down and hears the slight creak of the bench on the other side of the table, "Bacon..." the way to your heart perhaps? or at least a ... yeah that's a real smile
"Take your fill, I ordered hoping you would join me"
Haaru's eyes light up and she plates herself some bacon, "Thank you, don't mind if I do" she flashes a rather cheesy grin so much prettier when she smiles.
"You seem .. a bit worn out," Alinor tilts his head slightly, "You know if you can't get sleep here, we can set you up with a room at the Carrel?"
"I'm fine, just some nightmares, nothing really"
You're staring at that bacon awfully hard for it to be nothing... "Well, perhaps a little bit of ... shopping will brighten your mood?"
"Shopping? What for ... I already got outfits made for the performance tonight"
"You .. you did? Do you want someone to go with you to pick them up perhaps?"
"Sure, I suppose I could use some muscle to carry around all the bags for me" she flashes a sly grin at Alinor, "ya know, cause these weak things can't lift much" she pokes her arms a bit.
Alinor chuckles, "They do look to be lacking a bit of strength, something we can work on a bit if you stick around. Building muscle on that tiny frame of yours."
"Perhaps."
The two head out after breakfast and, as promised, Alinor carries the bags and boxes of clothing with the costume parts. She said she had to pay a bit extra for the rush, hopefully we can pay her back for that, and the performance won't be too bad ... though I do wonder about Draena's smoke ... I hope Haaru doesn't get upset about it. I'd hate if she got upset with us and I .. we couldn't get to know her more. She seems really sweet, but ... there's something about her that seems really ... sad. Alinor smiles warmly at her everytime she looks over, and the two make their way to the bronze carrel to get everyone else for the performance.
"I hope I got everyone's sizes correct for this, and if not ... well, I'm not the best at sewing but I can make alterations .. hopefully in time for the performance tonight," Haaru bounces a bit at Alinor's side, as he sets the boxes and bags on the table.
"I'm a DRAGON!!!" Gorthan yells out after fighting to get the wing harness on, ah, my friend, you never cease to put a smile on my face, Alinor chuckles lightly and shakes his head as Gorthan lets out a stream of fire into the air.
"Too bad you can't actually fly with those things huh?"
"I Know right!?" Gorthan all chuckles as the wings flap a bit with his shaking shoulders.
Alinor moves away from the others pulling Haaru off to the side, "I know you don't know us very well, but I'm really glad you're letting us do this with you. We've all been wanting to go to Galora's place for a while. Anyways, I got you this as thanks," he holds up a small box to the young girl, "It's not much, but well, it just seemed to call for you when I saw it," he gives a slight shrug.
"You didn't have to get me anything, Alinor. I was kind of worried I wouldn't find anyone to go with me. Private vs Party is a very different stage," she takes the box gently from Alinor's hands, she seems nervous...
"You don't have to open it now if you don't want to. I just wanted to make sure you got it before we headed over," that sweet smile again.
"Thank you," she looks down and slowly opens the box in her hands and her eyes go wide, "it's beautiful," she chokes out after a moment, her lips quivering slightly.
"Would you like me to put it on for you?"
"No ... ah no I think I'll save it for a more special occasion. Thank you though, you really didn't have to..."
