-TRIGGER WARNING FOR ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIPS-_______________________________________

Wayyy back before me and Night got together, we went on quite a few dates. Our first meeting, though, was one to remember.

-Sometime ago, in a fancy restaurant-

"Huh.. This place is wayyy to fancy for my taste," I think to myself, walking in. "Wayyyyy to nice and elegant. I'd honestly perfer McDonald's.."

"Hey, Soki, over here!" Ryu, (Soki's boyfriend before Night, and now Soki and Night's best friend.) shouted, waving his arms in the air.

"I'm on the way, chill." I laughed as I approached him. He was sitting at a table with 2 other people, both men.

"I brought another date," Ryu said. "Meet Night and Chris!"

Chris put his arm protectively around Night.

"Nice to meet you."

""...."

"Night, aren't you gonna introduce yourself?" Chris swatted his Night's face lightly. "C'mon don't be rude to Ryu's guest."

Night looked up at me, with those beautiful grey eyes of his.

"Umm.. I'm sorry for being rude," Night said quietly. "I'm Night, Chris's boyfriend.."

"Nice to meet you," I said gently. I took a seat, and the evening started. Things were going well, until dinner arrived.

The waitress put a bottle of red wine and 4 glasses on the table. Night popped the top, and poured each of us a glass, when suddenly, the bottle slipped out of his hands and he spilled it all over Chris.

Chris sat there, jaw agape in shock. The wine was seeping into his shirt. Night's face went pale.

"Night.. You and me.. Bathroom... NOW!!" He yelled, grabbing Night's arms and dragging him away.

"NONONONONO!! PLEASE, I'M SORRY... LET ME GO.. DON'T HURT ME PLEASE!!!" Night's cries faded out as the 2 disappeared in the bathroom.

I got a sinking feeling in my stomach.

"Ryu.. Does this usually happen?" I ask, scared for Night.

"No.. Should we call someone?"

As we chatted about what we should do, Night and Chris returned. They both sat down. Night stared at the floor. A giant purple bruise was shaded around his right eye.

"Night, what happened to your face?" I ask, staring at his eyes.

His eyes weren't that shimmering grey anymore, but souless and empty. Hurt.

"I slipped on some water from the sink, and hit my face on it." He said coldly.

Chris smirked.

"He, Chris, could we talk?" Ryu asked.

"Sure, watch him while we're gone," Chris told me as the 2 walked out the front doors.

I glanced over at Night, who had his head on the table. Tears were pouring from his eyes.

"Night.. Does he do this to you regularly?" I switched seats so I was next to him. I ran my finger through his soft black hair and massaged his neck.

"Yeah, all the time," he confessed between sobs. 'He hits me all the time. He never wants anyone to know about it, and so he tells me to lie, and say it was my fault!"

"You need to get out of this relationship," I coaxed. "If you need to, you're welcome to stay with me."

"Really?" Night wiped his eyes with a napkin. "Thanks."

I wrapped my arms around Night and hugged him.

"I can't believe someone would hurt you like this. You're really handsome, and you seem nice, and I just.. Can't believe it.." I stopped, and realized what I'd just said. I looked nervously up at Night.

He laughed.

"Nice to know someone thinks highly of me," he chuckled. "Thanks for helping me. I'm happy to know that you've got my back."

"Of course," I said smiling. "I'll always be here for you, whenever you need me."

With that, me and Night became boyfriend and boyfriend.
