However, Emilia couldn't let this ruin her day. Today she was going to put on her contact-lenses, and she would see no popups for every object she saw. Today, Emilia was going to walk to the shop, and see everything how it was.
Half-way the co-op she felt worried, five times she had saved an old man/lady from getting hit from a truck and two times she had saved herself from getting hit. What was she going to do this time? She scuttled across the road, almost getting hit by one of the speeding cars.
Finally she made it, her snowy white hair fluttering behind her. She smiled, feeling accomplished she stepped inside.
"Wow!" she squealed in excitement. She could usually tell what was good or bad with the contact-lenses it was like it was Russian-roulette! Picking up an apple was a piece of cake, but more congratulating, no annoying screen telling her how good or bad it was and if she would enjoy it, just her and the apple.
Eventually thirty minutes had passed with her and the apple and people started staring at her. She put the apple down after she heard people whispering
And from that day on she wore her prized contact lenses.
