Izuku’s soul mark was located on the inside of his wrist, the animals were impossible to see, his mark colored dark green. The greenette was snapped out of his thoughts by the school bell, he panicked, knowing what this would mean.

“DEKU! Huh… Lookin’ at that damn mark again? Ya’ know that it doesn't matter, they won’t want you. So put these on before I blow it up.” Bakugo held out a handful of centimeter thick bands out to Midoriya. All of the bands were orange or red, to represent his relation to Katsuki. Izuku silently pulled on the bands, covering the green-black mark. “Now then, will your soulmate want you?” Katsuki questions Izuku. Who shakes his head in response. “What was that?”

“No Kacchan, my soulmate won’t want a weak quirkless kid.” Izuku said this like he believed it, and he partly did.

(Little did either of them know that this hurt the hearts of a passing couple.)

“And do I love you?”

Yes, Kacchan.”

“Good.”

Midoriya traced the burnt skin around his wrist, Kacchan had blown up his wrist when he saw that deku had his soulmark uncovered on their first day at UA. Kacchan really didn’t want Izuku to find his soulmate. Katsuki’s soulmark had gotten color the other day, and Midoriya had seen when. It happened when Bakugo had shoved Kirishima out of the way. Kirishima noticing instantly, as his mark was on the back of his hand. Izuku had never seen a mark change before, but the black dripped off his hand, like ink, just sliding off Kirishima’s hand until it dripped to the ground. The class was going on a trip today, and he heard from an upperclassman who couldn’t keep her mouth shut, (Cough cough Amaimono cough) that they were going to a rescue training to a place called the USJ.

As the class stepped out into the dome-shaped building Midoriya’s mark burned, a sign that his soulmate would get hurt here. How? This is a controlled environment, no one should get badly hurt… Right? almost the instant he stepped into the room Izuku knew that this day would not go as planned, as he saw a blackish purple void in the center of the room. Izuku watched stunned before a group of villains came out.

“Mr.Aizawa those are villains!” Kaminari yelled as soon as he saw them.
