Dear Nyarl......

It’s been almost 30 days since I left.

I was dispatched from the main headquarters of the D.I.A. in Baldur’s Gate. My next assignment from the higher ups was to investigate a politician who are collaborating with nobles to fund a possible Thay invasion.

It just so happens my next area of operations is stationed in Waterdeep.

You know, I've always wanted to see Waterdeep, the City of Splendor. Even as a little girl no higher than my father's knee, I wanted to explore the big city.

I've heard so much stories, how it was first a Clan of Barbarians, the many war against rivalling clans and Orc Marches, to becoming a civilization.

The City Floating on Deep Blue Waters...

... I-it's embarrassing, but I thought Waterdeep - was a fictional place.
