Thomas lied there, eyes closed. He was awake but he couldn't bring himself to open his eyes. He could hear loud alarms screaming into his ears. He heard the strange screams coming from the sanitized octolings who had kept him prisoner. After what felt like hours Thomas opened his eyes. He saw a tiny pool of blood surrounding his arm, which had tiny bits of glass poking out of it. Suddenly, Thomas did a double-take on his arm, now realising the pale, green colour it had. He tried to move his arm to get a better look but he realised how much it hurt to move it. Thomas looked beyond his arm, he saw multiple other test tubes lining the walls, each one with a different octoling inside, multiple octolings already had fully pale, green skin with green and blue coloured hair. However some of these octolings had barely started turning green ad had a long way to go. Thomas noticed multiple control panels on the wall. Thomas moved his head to the side so he could see the rest of the room. The first thing he saw was a fully sanitized octoling laying on the ground, foamy spit flecked with bits of red leaked out of her mouth. She rolled on the ground, obviously in pain, her blue and green tentacles sliding on the floor. Next to the girl there were multiple shards of glass and another octoling, not sanitized at all, he looked to be around fourteen years old and seemed to be unhurt, he was facing away from Thomas. Thomas began to shout, "HELLO? WAKE UP!" Thomas was surprised to hear a barely audible groan come from the octoling. "WAKE UP! PLEASE!" Thomas screamed. The boy began to get up leaning on one arm. He turned his head to face Thomas. He seemed to have no idea what was going on and looked like he could fall asleep any moment. "W-, hello?" He said in a quiet voice. But at this moment Thomas began to fall asleep, he was bleeding quickly and the part of his face that wasn't a pale green looked so pale that it was as if he was a vampire. Thomas drifted off into a deep sleep, the alarm getting quieter by the second.
