Chapter 6

Chapter 6

Aug 10, 2019

"Shirome? The girl from the forest?" Mr. Hayao asked her daughters and and turned to look at the girl who's still on the floor.

"Yes Papa. She is." One of the twins answered.

"She also helped us last time." added the other.

"What do you mean last time?" He asked again.

"You mean that time? When you ended up in the police station?" Lady Hayao butted in.

"Yes mama. She brought us to the kid police officer." the twins answered.

"But, why, how did she save you this time?" Lady Hayao asked in cofusion.

"Well it doesn't matter what or why. I'm sure that there is only one reason for that, and that is because Shirome is a kind hearted person to help total strangers twice." Mr. Hayao said and smiled.

"Come, let us have breakfast inside first. You must be hungry." Mrs. Hayao invited Shirome but she just stared blankly at her.

"Why is she not standing up papa?" One of the twins asked.

"I'm not quite sure." He answered, then one of their butlers came closer to him and whispered something.

"Master, it seems like her legs are numb from being on that position since last night until today." It whispered.

"Oh right. I see." He said. "Please do help her up gently." He commanded the maids.

"Yes master." they replied and helped Shirome stand up slowly until she can feel her legs.

"Wash her up first and dress her while the breakfast is being ready." He added.
"Why don't pick some good dresses for her." Lady Hayao said to the twins.

"Yes Mama!" they both cheered. Then everyone went inside.

While the two maids are washing up Shirome, she shyly  behaved the whole time and did not resist to lessen the trouble. She also noticed that the maids were having trouble washing long sticky hair.

Mr. Hayao, on the other hand, contacted all connections he has to find out the identity of the girl, about her parents, and her origin, but they were not able to find any clues about her origin, nor her parents. Only the known information of her, living in the dangerous forest.

When Shirome was out from the warm bath, Lady Hayao and her daughters were astonished on how long and how sparkiling white her hair is matching, and even just wearing a robe, she still looks like a princess, only missing a crown.

"Mama, is she a Princess?" on of the twins asked.

"Is she a fairy?" the other asked.

"I don't know. Let's ask your father later." she answered with her eyes still glued on the shy girl in front of her. "Please try these dresses on her." She commanded the maids and they did as they are asked.

A few dresses have been put on her but they just can't decide what she would wear better. They tried a long dress on her, but she could not walk properly. So they decided on a short plain blue dress just above the knee.

It took them long enough just to dress her and kept Mr. Hayao waiting.

"What's taking them too long?" he asked his self and went upstairs to see what's happening. As he went upstairs, he heard her daughters and her wife screaming loud so he rushed and went inside the room.

"What's happening..." He was not able to finish his words when  he saw Shirome with her hair fixed and wearing a plain blue dress.

"Is this her?" He asked his wife whose smile is stretching to the ear.

"Papa, is she a Princess? Is she a fairy?" The twins asked with their eyes filled with excitement.

"No. I think she's a Goddess." He answered.
"She must be." Lady Hayao agreed.

They all stared at the girl who is now a bit nervous on what is happening. Then suddenly, a loud rumbling sound of a hungry stomach echoed throughout the room that broke the silence.

"Master. Breakfast is ready." a maid said as she entered the door.

"Oh. Uhm. W-well. Let's go have breakfast." Mr. Hayao said and started walking out the room.

"Come now dear. You must be hungry." Lady Hayao pulled Shirome's arms.

"Don't be shy and fill yourself up?" Lady Hayao said and filled her plates with eggs, bacon and bread.

She just stared  at the food in front of her not knowing how to act in front of them.

She looked at the two little girls eating on their own using two things that are still unknown to her. She observed how they use the strange things and copied the way on how they use them.

Lady Hayao noticed what she was doing and chuckled seeing her trying her best to learn, and she felt like being close to her.
