"Charles," I try his name on my tongue. "It suits you."

"I'd hope so." He smiles and hooks his arm around mine as we walk. "I do let a few special people call me Charlie though."

I can't control my grin. "So can I call you Charlie?"

"Maybe later." His words are so suggestive that my mind wanders through the possibilities and heat floods my cheeks.

"My name's Desmond, but you can call me Des' if you want."

"Sure, Des'," He leans against me, and points to a high rise next to the campus line. "We're almost to my apartment."
