POV Sora
****/****
I woke with a start peering around Logan's room, my eyes landed on Logan who was currently still unconscious from the incantation I cast on him this morning, so I sat up and got off of the large comfy mattress, gathering my close from the previous day I got dressed and went back over to the bed I stared at Logan for what seemed like forever, he shifted in his sleep,"I'm sorry Logan, we won't see each other for a while but I promise I will come back to you," I whispered softly and with it I left the bedroom with one final glance back at my unconscious friend "forget me," I said the incantation to erase the memory of me while on the brink of tears. I rushed out of the house but not being able to hold back my tears.
9 months later
I stood at the edge of the dock looking out at the deep blue sea in front of me the cold rough water splashing me, my clothes being soaked by the waves and rain spraying against my pale skin, but suddenly everything stopped I looked around me for a moment glancing at the crashing waves and the drops of rain that were frozen in place.
"brother I know your here there is no use hiding," I said with an annoyed voice "you no longer have to call me brother Sora," said my old friend and younger brother Allister with a stern but weak voice "hmm okay Alli, so what can I help you with," I said with a playful tone to my voice.
"Don't play games with me Sorano! you know what I have come down here for," I could tell my brother was starting to get annoyed since he used my full name "yeah I know, but I literally got this assignment two days ago And you should know better than anyone that nobody can stop a war in two days," I said getting irritated.
He just stared at me so I continued "Look I'm starting over at the university where the problem originated at tomorrow okay, I just need time, Please?" I pleaded to my sibling.
"Fine I suppose you are right sora, just please be careful," he said but it looked like he wasn't done so I let him continue "I'm not speaking to you as your supervisor right now but as an old friend and your younger brother just please I can't lose you again sora," he said looking down like a sad puppy. I sighed and smiled sweetly "I know Allister I'll be as careful as I possibly can little brother, okay," I said with a sweetly sick smile
he indirectly brought up my banishment.
"now Alli go back and report to our father that I'm re-starting tomorrow," I said with a smirk "okay," he replied as he looked up with a small smile "goodbye Sora," he said "goodbye," I responded. In a Split second his large grey wings unfolded and he was gone a second later along with any evidence he was here.
that means the rain and the waves were crashing down on me. I was soaked again in a matter of seconds by the cold and salty seawater while the cold wind and rain whipped my wavy brown hair against my face "Really!?!" I screamed into the sky knowing all too well that my brother was still there and wanted that to happen.
just then I hear him giggling from above "Jerk!" I screamed. "bye sora!" I heard my baby brother yell one last time, I just laughed and waved and started walking back to the apartment complex that I no longer shared with Luke. With my soaked clothes and hair. I walked into my small apartment with a frown I leaned on my front door my happy facade crumbling while I slowly slid to the ground curling my knees up to my chest "why? why, was I chosen for this stupid mission, why did I have to make him forget just so I could train?," I murmured quietly already on the brink of tears.
Hours pass until I finished weeping I slowly stood up and went over to the bathroom, I looked at the large mirror and look at the dark circles under my eyes and how dirty my brown hair looked, how skinny and pale I am, I quickly looked away from the mirror before I could look and judge myself more than I already had, I quickly stripped and went into the shower washing all my thoughts and problems down the drain as the warm water hit my cold pale skin. I stood on my balcony looking out over the city I pulled my phone out of my shorts pocket to check the time 12:35 A.M it read I sighed out loud and went into my apartment slowly making my way to my bedroom closing the door behind me, I shrugged off all my clothes until I was only in my boxers, I went over to my window and opened it I then went over to my large bed and sat down slowly lying down so I was on my back letting sleep envelop me while the cold night air filled my room.
"You have always been a fool Sora but honestly, I never knew you could be this dense," He said with a devilish smirk "w...what are you talking about sir?" I said already starting to cry from the tight grip he had on my neck "Im the one who killed her, and I'm going to make sure the police think it was you," he said annoyed "what n..no that's not possible," I said startled "oh but it is Sora I just have to plant your fingerprints and other evidence that I rigged so they think it was you, and next I'm going to kill you and make it look like a suicide, " the man said with a bored expression on his face "goodbye Sorano," he said as he threw me off the roof "No!" I screamed.
I woke with a start covered in a cold sweat, my arm outstretched as if I were reaching for something "God," I said, slowly dropping my arm over my face, it had been years since I've had that dream, but it's still vivid in my mind, after all, it would be hard to forget my old friend murdering me, I rose with a sigh, slowly getting out of bed I wandered over to my closet to get a pair of skinny jeans and a tight fitted long-sleeved black shirt then went to my bathroom to get ready. I jumped in the shower, got dressed in skinny jeans and the black shirt. I then blow-dried my hair that didn't really have a part and went down to my shoulder blades.
I went to my kitchen and slowly ate some breakfast I reached for my phone and just browsed the internet, after I finished getting ready I glanced at my clock 6:00 A.M it read "hmm I still have an hour before I have to leave but oh well," I muttered, I left my apartment and locked the door looking out over the railing at the sky that was a deep greyish blue color since the sun was just barely rising. I stared at my motorcycle for a few seconds debating if I want to take it to the university "sure might as well," I thought, as I jumped on my bike, pulling out my helmet I slid it over my head and put the key in the ignition and started off towards the school.
I pulled up to the school and took off my helmet. I checked my phone for the time, 1 hour and 30 minutes until the building is filled with people but only 30 minutes until the actual building is open I thought.
so I have to find a way to waste 30 minutes just as I was thinking this I saw a shift in the shadows I slowly but surely made my way to where I saw the shift "hello?" I called, nothing "hello," I said a bit louder, again nothing I sighed and looked around getting closer to where I saw the movement "is someone there?," I asked "hmm I must be going insane," I sighed out loud and just as I was turning around it happened again but this time it was a noise in the bushes I started walking towards the sound but stopped when I heard a disembodied voice from the opposite direction say something I looked over to where I heard the voice and noticed there was a small shed just past the trees and right in front of the shed was a tall woman that looked in her early twenties with a short pixie cut and red jumpsuit she was also wearing a pair of black headphones. she was slumped over with her hands on her knees "um hello?" I asked as I walked over it looked like she didn't hear me so I walked up behind her and tapped on her shoulder "Oh!" she said with a slight jump " hello there, are you a student here?" she asked with a smile"um yes but I'm starting today," I replied "Oh! Well welcome to Airya university," she said with a kind smile "so um no offense but um who are you?" I asked "oh I'm one of the coaches, I'm just trying to get into the storage shed," she said "any success with that?" I asked "Nope," she replied "here let me try," I said and went over to the wooden doors "hmm let's see, what to do, what to do," I hummed under my breath and with that I grabbed the handle and whispered an enchantment that angels are forced to learn for our own well being when I felt my black eyes shift into a golden glow, I then gave a hard yank and the doors burst open.
