Violet's eyes seemed to notice me, her cheek seemed to be pierced by a blade. She began to dart towards me almost stumbling , panicked but still with that sharp look on her face.
"We need to leave!", Violet's voice cracked grabbing my arms and running into a black mist that vanished.
My head still pounding I opened my eyes as the ceiling light blinded me. Covering my face to block the lightI sat up. My eyes traveled the room as a sweet aroma swept past me. I glanced over to see Violet with freshly wet hair and barley clothed, I quickly looked away.
"Oh, you're awake......I had to bring you to my place because I kinda don't know where you live, and sorry for knocking you out.", Violet laughed hesitantly.
"Don't be getting any ideas either dork.", she began again approaching the kitchen.
"Uh yeah no thanks, I'm not Neel.", I shot back.
Violet giggled, "I like you, would you want to stay for dinner?"
"Maybe another time, I probably should be getting home, but thanks.", I smiled as I picked up my coat and headed for the door.
I nodded my head then closed the door behind me. Realizing I didn't really ask what happened in the alley I stopped to try and remember, but my memory was weak and fuzzy. What the heck was she?
...
Violet threw herself on the sofa, "He'll realize soon won't he?"
A deep males voice spoke threw the phone back to her, " Hopefully he is willing to help out, and we don't have to take him by force."
...
Later that night I woke with another annoying migraine. Visions of the same creatures and events flashed through my mind. Falling to my knees Violet appeared.
"It's happening again isn't it?", Violet tone of voice changed into something I didn't recognize.
"What the hell are you talking about?", I breathed struggling to stand.
"That inner demon you've been ignoring for a while now, haven't you?", she said softly crouching next to me.
My scarlett red eyed met hers, "Those visions, they~"
"Were based on your past life yes.", Violet interrupted.
"What are you exactly?", my eyes became cold.
"A straghoul, and so are you.......you've always been, and those visions are apart of you.", Violet continued as if it was natural.
"Straghoul? You mean the creatures that are being hunted down? Yeah, no thanks.", I finally had the balance to stand narrowing my eyes.
"Yes, as you know we are the "creatures" being hunted and we each are ranked for our strength and ability. As I can tell you're quite powerful and agile.", Violet gawked stroking my chest.
"You're apart of that black cross~group aren't you? I've heard of you.", I grabbed her hand and pushed her away.
"Ugh, you're no fun.", she groaned.
I started to approach the door, I wasn't going to deal with this tonight. Especially because my head was pounding and I had work to get done.
"H~Hey since you don't know much we could talk about it.", she blurted out desperately.
"Tell me why I should trust you?", I said coldly.
Violet's voice trailed after mine, "Leon if you ignore what you are and the other part of you it will consume you and your sanity."
My eyes traveled to her as her voice softened, " I really want to help you, and I really like you."
She turned to gaze out the window near the kitchen, my eyes still on her for any movements. Maybe learning this stuff will make it go away and I can live a normal life.
"How about over dinner?", I sighed tiredly.
Violet's eyes sparkled beautifully as she swung around her hair traveling behind her, "Really! I would love to!"
"Uhm yeah, sure how about Thursday at 8?", I said flustered.
"Perfect, I will answer any questions you have, so pick me up at 8 ok?", Violet gave me a grin and pecked me on the cheek before leaving.
