My tears stopped due to the shock of his words. A pet? Was this some kind of sick joke? I’m a person not an animal, how could I be a pet?! 

“Your pet?” I mumbled in confusion.”What the hell is wrong with you?” I say while pushing him away from me. 

“Have you never kept a pet before?” Abraxas questioned, smirk still on his face.

“No, I have, but why would I ever stoop so low to be an animal.” I growled.

“ You are the one who put yourself in this situation, little one.” Abraxas responded. “ You asked what it is I desire and I told you, if you don't like my answer you can take your business elsewhere.” He stood once he finished his sentence. “Hopefully you live long enough to find someone else here” Abraxas chuckled while turning to walk away. 

“Wait, don’t go please!” I say frantically, all but basically crawling to catch up with the man in front of me. He turns to glance at me but never stops his slow pace. I scurry after him, still on my hands and knees for some reason, I guess my body finally caught up with my fear. I reach out just barely grasping the hem of his pants. “Abraxas, please wait.” I gasp. “Please!” I grip tighter onto his pants. I was groveling like a slave, but I had to save mom. He finally stopped, slowly turning to look at my crumpled form. 

“Haven’t you wasted enough of my time, human.” He basically hissed at me. I tried to take a moment to gather my thoughts, but I was suddenly lifted from the ground. Abraxas had grabbed my collar bringing me face to face with him, which meant I was hanging a few inches from the ground. “Spit it out before I lose my patience, brat.” Shit he was pissed. 

“I agree!” I shouted as I gasped for breath. “I’ll go be your pet, please just heal my mom”. I feel my tears start to fall yet again. “ I’ll do what you want I promise, just please-” I was cut off with a swift kiss. Huh? A kiss! I stared in disbelief as Abraxas pulled back, a smile on his face. 

“You might be smarter than I gave you credit, boy.” Abraxas stated, setting me on my feet. Which didn’t last long. I simply crumpled back to the ground. “I’ll gladly help you since you have agreed to come stay with me.” I was still too shocked to respond to what he was saying. He has kissed me? Why did he do that? I looked up at him hoping to find some kind of answer in his face, but i was met with the same smirk he had been hosting all night.

“Why did you kiss me?” I questioned, not being able to think of anything else. 

“Because I wanted too.” Abraxas replied. “Now then pet, we best get out of here before any unwanted quests try to come get you.” He said, scooping me up into his arms.

“Ack!, Put me down I can walk on my own!’’ I exclaim, but Abraxas simply ignores me and continues to walk down the dark street.

“Abraxas, please, where are we going, I’ll walk on my own” I say while trying to escape from his arms. I had no luck though since his grip was too strong.

“We are going to my home pet, where else would we be going?” He replied like I was stupid.

“What do you mean, what about my mother?” I all but scream at him. “You promised!” I was silenced by a finger.

“That I did pet, and I plan to keep my promise. But it has been a long day and I plan to head home now, is that a problem?” Abraxas said with a look saying i shouldn’t complain. I didn’t really care too much about that look though.

“But when are you going to help my mom!” I asked. 

“I’ll do it whenever I have time, now keep quiet stupid boy”

“Who are you calling stupid, asshole!’’ I screamed. How dare he look down on me.

“I tried to be nice pet, but I guess I’ll have to do it the hard way,” Abraxas sighed. And before I could even question him, the world started to spin into darkness.
