Talking with her mouth stuffed full of food, Willow exclaimed how wonderful this place was.
“Chew with your mouth closed, man,” Tanner said.
Ray purposely smacked and earned a real smack on the arm for it.
“Hey!”
“If you're gonna smack get prepared to be smacked, bitch.”
“Tanner!” Riley whisper yelled, “There are children here!”
The only kids were across the restaurant and too busy by phones. They’ve probably heard worse. Ray started to get up to go back to the buffet for a second plate. Riley followed and they engaged in small talk.
Somehow their conversation turned to how Riley had never had a sleepover before, one of the worst crimes in Ray’s book.
“What?!”
“I’ve never had a sleepover, so what?”
Ray rushed over to the group, his face a dark red.
“Sleepover. Tonight. We’re renting a hotel so all of us can stay. Lets go pack our bags.”
“We’re not done eating. Wait until after dinner,” Charlie chuckled.
“But Riley has never had a sleepover!”
“Neither have I,” Tanner said.
“What?! Why? What is wrong with you sad children,” Ray cried out.
“I’m older than you.”
Ray sat, impatiently bouncing his legs and almost jumping out of his seat each time someone so much as moved.
When everyone finally got up Ray all but ran out the door, forgetting to pay.
“Don’t worry, I got it,” Tanner said, pulling a couple twenties out.
Everyone walked back to the girls dorm, letting the ladies pack a few bags. They then walked to the boys dorm, Tanner and Ray going to grab the bare necessities.
They called Wuber to get a ride to one of the nearest and cheapest hotels they could find. They all checked into one large room and practically ran to the elevators. They had a race to see who could find the hotel room first and Tanner won.
“Ha! Suck on that bitches!”
“Tanner, I don't think I've ever heard you say stuff like that before.” Willow said with a giggle.
“Oh I have.” Ray said rubbing the back of his neck remembering the lazer tag incident.
Riley took out her key to the room and opened the door. They found two queen sized beds, a couch, two dressers, and a TV mounted on the wall.
“Charlie and I will take one of the beds. It’s not like we don't sleep in the same bed anyway.” Willow said throwing her bag on one if the beds.
“And no offence but I am not sleeping with one of you. I’d rather take the couch.” Riley said sitting on the brown couch.
“Hold on, we are not sleeping in the same bed.” Tanner protested.
“It's not like you guys haven't before. You guys dated.” Riley started but them gasped. “Your telling me you’ve never slept in the same bed before?”
“No!” Tanner and Ray said at the same time.
“Jinx! Pinch, poke, you owe me a coke.” Tanner looked at Ray’s black skinny jeans, “since your wearing black you owe me a pack,” Then his blue hair, “Since your wearing blue you owe me two!”
“You really want to start this game again?” Ray sighed getting out a piece of paper and writing down that he owes Tanner two packs of Dr. Pipper.
“It never ended my friend.” Tanner said in triumph placing his bag on the second bed.
“Anyways,” Ray said also placing his bag on the bed. They will be making a pillow wall tonight, “What do we want to do?”
“I don't know, what are some sleepover games?” Riley asked.
Tanner took out his phone and looked up different sleepover games.
“Oh! This one says that we write down different song titles and put them into a bowl or hat. Someone draws one of the titles and has to make up a song for it!”
“Of course you would like that Mr. Music Major,” Ray teased.
“I just thought it would be fun.“
“Let’s do truth or dare while we’re drunk,” Charlie joked.
“What do you mean drunk? Last time I ended up drunk it didn’t end well,” Tanner said.
“Tipsy then.”
“We don’t even have alcohol.”
“That’s what you think,” Riley said while pulling out a bottle of vodka.
“Riley!” Ray yelled in shock while reaching for the bottle.
Riley gladly gave it over, waiting as Ray opened it.
“Oh gosh,” Willow said as he chugged part of it.
“TRUTH OR DARE TIME BABY!”
The bottle was passed around, each person taking a gulp except Tanner, who just took a small sip.
“Allllrighty,” Ray slurred. “Riley, truth or daaaare?”
“Truth darlin’.”
“Are you a virgin?”
“Naaah.”
“Daaaamn Riley been getting some!” Charlie whooped.
“You’re not a virgin either,” Willow winked.
“Groosss,” Ray mumbled.
Riley’s turn, “Dare or Truth, hmm.. Willow?”
“Dare.”
“Lick Charlie’s stomach.”
“WHAT!”
“Come on, it’s not like you haven’t before.”
“THAT’S NOT THE POINT!”
Willow sighed and looked at Charlie, who was bright red.
“It’s a dare, you have to do it.” Tanner said.
The continued and did the dare, dying of embarrassment.
The game continued, eventually Riley went to bed, er.. Couch. Charlie passed out and Willow carried her to bed, leaving Tanner and Ray to the game.
“Ray, truth or dare?”
“Dare,”
“I dare you to stop drinking.” Tanner said taking the bottle.
“That’s not a true dare,” Ray complained.
“Okay well, dare me to do something then.”
“I dare you to drink the rest of the bottle.”
Without hesitation Tanner chugged the rest, a very small amount but enough to get him almost drunk.
“Alright now, truth or dare?”
“Truth,” Ray answered.
“What are your true thoughts on me?”
The dreaded question. Ray panicked and tried to think of a way to put his thoughts in a way that wouldn’t freak Tanner out.
“Well, I’m really glad we met again, and I think you’re a wonderful person-” he stopped when he noticed Tanner moving closer.
“Wha-What are you doing?”
“Do you like me?”
“You’re drunk.”
“That’s not the answer. Last time at the party you said you liked me, is it true?”
“I-I don’t know.”
“Yes or no,” Ray could feel Tanner’s breath on him.
“You’re drunk and this isn’t right. Ask me when you’re sober.”
Tanner frowned and pretended to cry before leaning on Ray, head nestled in his neck.
“What are you doing?” Ray asked.
“You smell nice, I loooovve the smell of you.”
“It’s cinnamon and vanilla.”
Tanner hummed as Ray froze up.
“Maybe it’s time to go to sleep. Come on, Tanner.”
“But I’m comfy right here! I don’t want to get up,” he whined.
“Hey hey hey! Shh, others are sleeping. I’ll carry you.”
Ray picked Tanner up and carried him to the bed, trying to lay him down but the little leech wouldn’t let go. Tanner grumbled and pulled Ray onto the bed with him, forcing Ray to be cuddled to death.
Tanner snoozed off almost immediately while Ray stayed wide awake, attempting to process what was happening. He eventually fell asleep.
----------
Tanner woke up to the girls giggling, he wondered why until he noticed he was practically glued to Ray. He sat up and immediately began blushing and stuttering about how it meant nothing and girls cuddle all the time.
Ray woke up from all the noise, reaching for his temples and massaging them.
“What the hell is going on?”
“You two were all over each other last night.”
“What?” Ray looked over at Tanner.
“We were drunk!” He yelled and hid his face.
“Being drunk brings out true intentions,” Riley joked.
“It didn’t mean anything,” Tanner mumbled.
"Come on, you guys looked so content just laying there all cuddled up."
Suddenly Willow bolted up, “I’ve got class! Fudge!”
She ran out the door after rushing to say bye, running towards her classes. The four left cleaned up the hotel room a bit and left. Ray and Tanner dropped the girls off at their dorm and began the walk to their place.
“So it really didn’t mean anything?” Ray asked
“You wanting it to mean something?” Tanner responded.
Ray flailed his arms, “No! I mean, I don’t care. We were drunk, man!”
Tanner laughed, making Ray blush.
They arrived at their dorms, Tanner shutting the door behind Ray.
“Did you like cuddling?” Tanner teased.
“You wish,” Ray joked, still blushing.
“Why are you so red?”
“I’m not,” he looked away.
“Yes you are.”
“No.”
“Yes.”
Ray sat down on his bed, attempting to grab his sketchbook, yet before he could he was pinned down. Tanners hair sprawled around Ray, whose arms were secured above his head.
