Shoko wakes up one morning, tired from a night of playing Black Souls 3 with her brother, Seiji. "What! Why!" She says quietly, knowing Seiji and her Parents are still asleep. 'The servers are down for updates and maintenance' it read on her computer screen. She knew there was going to be an event, but she didn't expect the servers going down for it! As if that wasn't bad enough, she had to start her first year of training in Valkyrie Stadium soon. She hopes to be ascended to protector before 5th year, but every god she has spoken to told her, "If you want to be ascended early, you will need to put effort into your powers, your team skills, and MOST OF ALL, your hand-to-hand training. Most juveniles skip the hand-to-hand training, because they just assume we gods only use our powers and abilities, but devils like Cthulhu are masters of disabling abilities. If you're a god who can't fight and you go against a devil or a rogue, you would most certainly die." She always wondered what a rogue was, but never asked.

A few hours later, Shoko and Seiji arrive at Valkyrie Stadium. "They noticed a flier, reading: "Entrance Exams in 2 days, Practice!"
