We road hard and we rode fast back to the castle. Once we road into the courtyard I leap of my horse shoving the rains into a servents hands and marching up the stairs, down the hallway to the doors of the throne room.
“Wait, M’lady, he’s in a meeting right now-” The guard said as I shoved him aside and pushed open the doors.
“Father!” I shouted as I marched inside, “What the hell were you think-”
I stop as I see three people standing at his throne. They turn my way and I notice the silver bands circling their foreheads.
“Oh, daughter welcome home.” My father says rising from the throne, “How was the town? Mind taking off the helmet?”
“Oh, it was just pleasant just pleasant,” I say as I take off my helmet and shake out my hair. “I found out that my father was going behind my back to find me a husband when I said that I didn’t want to get married at all.”
I toss my helmet to a servent and march forward till I was right in front of him, glaring straight into his eyes.
“I am your father, I know what’s best for you.”
“Oh so now you want to act like my father huh? Now you want to pretend you care!” I shove my finger in his face as I yell, “Well too bad because I have better things to do than listen to you!”
