She hated being a waitress, walking around, serving customers in such a tight uniform. It showed off her form in a teasingly manner and hugged all of her curves which seemed to drive men crazy. They'd turn into disrespectful creatures whenever she changed into it, bossing her around and groping her. She despised her job, but it paid well for what it was worth and it was close to her home in which allowed her to always be punctual and not have to worry about bus fare. They needed every penny they could get.
"Hey, Miss. Over here.", a customer called out to her.
"Yes. I'll be right with you."
Ae-Cha gave a gentle smile to the couple in front of her as she placed their plates of food in front of them. She then began making her way over to the man who called her over. "Are you ready to place your order?", she questioned, pulling out her pen and notepad from her front pocket.
The customer sent her a greasy smile before replying, "Yeah. You." Ae-Cha's eyes met with his. "I want you served with a side of butter.", he continued. She laughed it off, pretending to find his statement funny like she did with majority of her customers. The man's eyes seemed to be eating her up.
"How much?", he asked.
Ae-Cha furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "What do you mean?" The man smiled a smile so big, it seemed as though it hurt. His eyes traveled up and down her form, suggestively. "For you to show me a good time. What's your price, baby?" Ae-Cha was mentally slapped for the umpteenth time that week. Was this guy serious? Was every guy in this town nuts thinking she put a price on her body? Catching the drift that he was serious, Ae-Cha gave him a gentle smile in response. It was mandatory for employees to be on their best behavior no matter the situation.
"I'll go get you a few refreshments while you make up your mind about your order, alright, sir?"
Thinking she could make for an exit with this customer, Ae-Cha turned to walk the opposite way, but was roughly pulled back by the arm. She quickly turned to face her aggressor. "I don't want any refreshments.", he said. Fear ran through her veins at the look in the mans eyes. "Sir, please, let go." The grip he held onto her arm with hurt. He seemed to be tightening it.
"Sir!", Ae-Cha yelled in a strained voice.
At that moment, the man took the opportunity to roughly place a kiss apon her lips and attempt to slide his tongue into her mouth, causing Ae-Cha to push him as hard as she could and slap him with all of her might. This in turn, angered the customer. Others around them began to catch onto the scene and Ae-Cha could not believe what was happening.
Anger was all she could see in the mans eyes. "You dirty slut!", he yelled at her before raising his hand to strike her. Ae-Cha tightly closed her eyes and braced for the impact, but it never seemed to come. Instead she began to hear whispering.
"S-Sly Seung?", the man stuttered out.
Sly Seung?
Ae-Cha slowly opened her eyes to see the man she'd met from the hospital gripping tightly onto her attackers raised arm. He looked somewhat annoyed. She couldn’t believe it. How did he seem to pop up everywhere?
Fear was evident on the others face as a few people had out their cellphones. A sigh slipped from her stalkers lips. "Do you make it a hobby to sexually harass women and then hit them?" The man quickly shook his head. Ae-Cha looked around at all the people either recording or starring on in shock. Sly Seung was his name, right?
"It's just-I mean-", the man tried.
Seung rose a brow at his failed attempt to form a sentence. People that knew of his status always seemed to turn into stuttering idiots around him. Most people would be happy to gain such attention walking into a place, but to him it was annoying. "Enough.", Seung cut him off. "Just don’t do it again. Be wise and leave."
The man quickly bowed before high-tailing it out of there as fast as his feet could carry him. Some people really were idiots. Seung turned to face Ae-Cha who stared at him with eyes filled to the brim with mixed emotions. He then looked around to see people starring at him before sighing once again.
"Ae-Cha!"
Seung and Ae-Cha turned their head in the direction of the voice to see a short stocky woman making her way towards her. "Are you alright? Is everything okay?", her boss asked. Ae-Cha nodded. "It was just an.. impolite customer.", she replied. "But, he's gone, now."
Ae-Cha's boss ran a hand over her face. "I am so sorry. You can take your 15. Take an extra 5 minutes if you feel you need to.", her boss told her. Ae-Cha nodded and began to head outside, Seung right behind her, ignoring people's stares. She said nothing, not sure if she should thank him for helping her out of that situation or yell at him for stalking her.
"You can take care of yourself, huh?" Seung asked with a slight chuckle.
Ae-Cha quickly turned to Seung with angry eyes. Forget thanking him. He was such a jerk. "Why are you here?!", she asked the question she'd asked the day before. The man then pulled out his phone, checked a few messages and replied to a few. Ae-Cha grew puzzled. He was ignoring her? Before she had a chance to word her thoughts, the man slipped his phone back in his pocket and replied, "Coffee."
"What?"
"I stopped by to get a cup of coffee on the way to a business meeting with my father, but then I happened to stumble across you and your.. boyfriend?"
Ae-Cha narrowed her eyes at him. "He was not my boyfriend." Seung smirked once again. It was so easy to set her off. "And now here I am, having a 15 minute date with you.", he finished. "This is not a date!", Ae-Cha said. This guy was enough to drive her crazy. He was far from normal if she had anything to say about it.
"Say what you will, but-"
Seung reached into the front pocket of his high tailored suit, pulling out a business card. "- I really should be going. Here's my card if you change your mind about that offer and need to reach me." He handed her the card with a charming smile in place. Ae-Cha glared at him. She wasn’t even close to considering sleeping with him for money, yet she found herself taking the card into her hand. Perhaps she wanted to get the chance to thank him properly. She just couldn’t place it.
"Well.", he said before heading towards the nice, black, sleek car with a driver in the front seat. "I'll see you."
The car itself seemed to scream for attention. She could tell by his choice of transportation that he liked to show off that he had money and wasn’t afraid to use it. She rolled her eyes. He was probably spoiled growing up. When he drove off, Ae-Cha looked down at the card in her hand. She honestly didn’t know why she'd taken it from him.
