I told Asher I would get Lucille back and once I left his apartment I started thinking I couldn’t do it. But, I remembered my niece or nephew and my sister. I knew I had to rescue them.

I got into the car and drove to the hill house. I parked the car a few blocks away. I ran to the door. That's when I noticed the black pick-up truck at the end of the driveway. It was Asher.

“That, IDIOT!” I thought to myself.

The one thing I told him not to do was come with me.

He ran up to me and announced, “Dad never parks in the garage his car would be in the driveway. He’s not home right now.”

“Ok, fine hurry,” I told him with very annoyed with him.

We took the spare key and walked in. I led him to the room labeled Asher. His face gave me a confused look.

“This is my old room. It’s empty and…..” He started mumbling and grabbed the doorknob.

I grabbed his hand. I didn’t want him to see her yet.

“Stand over there Asher. I don’t want you to see her like this.” I told him moving his hand away from the doorknob.

He looked at me and nodded. He walked away and looked at me. I knew he wanted Lucille back. I opened the door and saw her.

She was wearing the same thing she was when we took her. Her legs were covered in scars and blood. As well as her arms. She was gagged and she was wearing a blindfold. Her hands were tied behind her back. She was crying, I could hear her. I walked up to her and took the blindfold off. Her eyes were tear-stained. She looked scared of me and continued crying.

“Shhh, It’s ok I’m here to help,” I told her untying her gag.

“Why w-would I t-trust you.” She stuttered.

“Nikoletta, you really thought you and him could save her.” Asher’s father entered the room.

He walked towards Lucille. I couldn’t untie her. He grabbed her arm and yanked her to her feet. Lucille was in pain you could hear it in her voice and from her face. The door burst open to reveal the idiot himself; Asher.

“Don’t touch her,” Asher yelled at His father.

“Oh, my boy, protecting the person that will just turn out like your mother.” Asher’s father said dropping Lucille on the floor and walked up to Asher.

I run to Lucille and untied her hands.

“No, I’m not like you; I never will be!”

“Don’t be stupid my boy, you’re just like me. You have since birth. You’re a demon, we’re all the same.” Asher’s dad taunted him.

Asher’s dad slapped him across the face and whispered, “Stupid child.”

When Lucille saw Asher get slapped she was livid. I saw her weak eyes and she couldn’t do much but with all the strength she could gather she pulled her wings out. The gold of her feathers set out a shining light. Asher looked at Lucille and ran over to her, Asher’s father turned around and saw Lucille’s wings; He gave out an evil smirk. He let out his tail and cut her back not deep enough to hit anything but deep enough to draw blood. She collapsed I braced her and Asher checked the damage. It was a smaller cut not much damage, but she still drew blood.

“Asher, take a feather,” Lucille said softly.

Asher did as she said and picked a feather off her wings and gave it to Lucille.

She held it in one of her hands and whispered to Asher, “Remember what I did for Quinn, do the same to me later, right now isn’t the time.”

Asher nodded and stood up. He looked at his father and both his eyes turned red and black.
