“W-what?!” Satin cried, taking a quick glance at the door.
It was still wide open, she could escape.
“Look - I’m glad I could save you, but I want nothing to do with a heartless! You have to understand!” Satin nervously smiled as Azuki scampered behind her with a hiss.
Slowly they started to make there way to the open door.
“Oh, sweetheart, I want everything to do with you, look.” Nori reached out and pulled a thread out of the air.
With a tug, Satin stumbled closer to her.
“Like I said, you belong to me now. Your heart will be mine.” Nori hummed slowly pulling the unicorn closer and closer.
“N-no!” Satin screamed and dug her hooves into the wood.
“No one can resist me….” Nori’s voice fluxed into a winding song.
Satin’s eyes glazed over, and her fight relaxed.
“Satin! Don’t! She’s going to eat you!!” Azuki hissed leaping on to her owners back all claws out.
That was more than enough to snap Satin out of her trance.
When she came to, she was only inches from Nori’s lips.
Then the kiss.
Satin had kissed a woman before, even ones she had a crush on.
But this - this is different, lustful, strong and almost feverish.
She shoved her away spitting as she made a break for the door, slamming it behind her.
Satin’s heart pounded as she cantered down the road.
Where could she go?
Everyone was still at the wedding, nothing was open.
Then she felt it.
The sting she has seen was along her heart.
It was so painful it brought her to her knees.
Her vision swam, and she looked down at her chest, the string with still there, longer even.
Stretching out behind her from where she had come.
“I told you, you belong to me now.” Nori’s voice echoed from the string.
“N-no!” she screamed, grabbing the string and tugged it taunt.
“I won’t belong to a monster like you!” she grabbed her sewing scissors from the back pocket.
“Satin, don’t!” Azuki hissed running up.
But it was too late.
Snip.
The pain burned along Satin’s whole body.
The string fluttered in the air and vanished.
Satin’s body swooned, and she collapsed into the dirt.
Her pounding heartbeat slowed.
Then stopped.
She had become heartless.
Just.
Like.
That.
