I run through the woods following Hades as he chases the deer. The deer runs as I whistle calling him to me as he chirps at me. He purrs as he walks around me fading away. An image of sage pops in my head making me grunt as I grit my teeth. I shake my head starting to run again Hades appearing beside me. He looks up at me his eyes dim as my strength weakens.

The deer nowhere in sight I stop looking around confused. I sigh as I shake my head. “Damn distraction” I grumble as I pat Hades on the head making him growl.

“Not… maybe next time” I say as I sigh, Hades fading away. I look around confused as I scratch the back of my neck.

“Where am I?” I question as I try and pick up any familiar scents. I don't pick up on any scents as I look around. “Uh…” I turn around trying to retrace my steps. I walk till I find jasmine house. I tilt my head looking at it.

I see Sage in the window as she looks out of it. I tilt my head watching her as i move behind a tree. Her bangs cover her eyes as she watches out the window before looking down. She turns heading out of view. I sigh as I turn walking away from the house before I grumble turning back around, walking to the houses front door.

The door opens, “what do you want?” Jasmine asks. I raise an eyebrow as I look at her. She glares, “yeah, I’m mad at you,” I shrug as I turn back around.

She sighs, “come back damn it,” she grumbles as I hear Sage in the background, “Jas?”. I sigh as I stop walking and turn walking back over to her.

She steps back as I see Sage as she blinks, looking at me. I look up at her my head tilting to its side.

She blinks rapidly then looks away. “Right,” I grumble looking back at Jasmin.

She shrugs, “did you need somethin’ or just visitin’?”

I spin around “never mind,” I say annoyance in my voice as I start walking away. 

“Uh, okay?” Jasmin says tilts her head. I wave as I walk away, “she is better off with you anyway.”

I hear silence before running as I feel arms wrap around my waist. I tense putting my hands up as I look down at the arms around my waist. “Uh..”

“Thank you,” I hear Sage say softly, seeing the scars on her arms faded. I nod slowly as I lower my hands. She lets me go slowly, hearing Jasmine sigh. I turn around looking at Sage.

She looks at me, her eyes doe-like and soft. I swallow hard as I back up. I hear Jasmine snicker as Sage tilts her head. I raise an eyebrow as I look up at Jasmin.

She grins and mouths ‘cute’. My face hardens as I grumble. She laughs as Sage looks at us, confused.

I shake my head as I grunt before turning.

“Keep in mind, I’m a blood demon,” I say my accent strong as I start walking away.

“Keep in mind, you had to think she was cute,” she whispers shouts. I sigh as I shake my head and keep walking.
